k98nights
Iraqi Legislature charges regional states with fighting Iraqi palm-dates 9/29/2011 10:32 AM KARBALA / An Iraqi legislature has charged some regional states with “fighting Iraqi palm-dates, through spreading rumors that they are not safe for human consumption, due to their exposure for radiation.” “There are certain states, fighting Iraq since the beginning of its political change in 2003, aiming to besiege it, in order to force its political, democratic and economic failure, because it undermines their Royal and Prince’s position,” Legislature Fuad al-Duroky told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. “Those states are besieging Iraq on the agricultural level, including launching a war against its palm-dates, in order to prevent its revision its position as the world’s first palm-dates exporter in the world,” Duroky said. The Iraqi Legislature said that “those states are spreading rumors that Iraqi palm-dates are exposed for different radiations, due to the wars, waged by Iraq’s former regime, and are not safe for human consumption,” charging that “those states buy Iraqi palm-dates, repeat its canning and exporting it for world markets, claiming that they are of their own production, a policy aimed at the destruction of agriculture in Iraq.” http://en.aswataliraq.info/Default1.aspx?page=article_page&id=145075&l=
