Rayzur
Biden show to the president of the United States upset the political situation in Iraq Asked Joe Biden Vice President in a telephone call from President Jalal Talabani, to hasten his return to Iraq, to convene a meeting of all heads of political blocs to discuss the crisis facing the country. Biden upset and expressed the U.S. government crises suffered by the political process, and failure to reach agreements on important issues such as security ministries and the participation of some of the blocks in the government. Talabani stressed that Biden will have the initiative to be invited to the heads of political blocs, and urged them to leave important decisions, to end the sharp intersection between the political blocs. source: aLWASETA

easyrider
Honestly i do believe that this Charade that Maliki and the GOI are playing CANNOT go on much longer. They need to start making descisions the US has a lot of money tied up in Iraq. I know we are talking about Joe Biden here but i believe if this continues to drag out any loger they will be getting major pressure instead of this other BS that has been happening. Pressure i am referring to is the UN. Edited September 26, 2011 by easyrider

Pressure i am referring to is the UN. I would tend to agree with you. I still believe there is a greater plan and people in power we have no clue about. It isnt about one person holding this up. That just would not happen. Yet, there is a definitive plan in play and has been and we know little about what the true blocks in this are. The rest is pure political bantering. The USA has his hands way up into this. I am curious how much the republicans and bush and chenney are involved. I wish we had a way to know the true details even after this takes place. I doubt we ever will though. Let's hope this happens soon. Peace.

countryroads
It's not just the US, there are a lot of other nations that are getting fed up with the childish behavior of those in the Iraqi government. It would not surprise me a bit to find out that Maliki has some sort of agreement with Iran where he would let the country fall apart, then have the Iranians move in,take over and put him in charge. Remember this is the Middle East and these people were raised on this kind of behavior.

Maybe they're scared what will happen when a million individualists suddenly have the funds to fan the grass fires spreading across the nation. Maybe they are afraid the truth actually WILL set them free, free from those cushy government jobs they expect to have for life. tosmith96
http://www.wasatonli...7-54&Itemid=123 There is the link.. In other words Biden said hurry the heck up and get this done. The Iraqi people, America and the World needs this done now! The request of Joe Biden US vice president in a telephone call from President Jalal Talabani to initiate immediately after his return to Iraq, to convene a meeting that includes all heads of the political blocs to discuss the crises facing the country. Biden expressed alarm over the US government of the crises that afflict the political process, and the failure to reach agreements of important issues such as the security ministries and the participation of some of the blocs in the government. Al-Talabani confirmed of Biden that he will seek to be invited to the heads of the political blocs, and urged them to get out important decisions, to end the state of the intersection between sharp political blocs. easyrider
What it comes down to if this continues the UN will have to step in there just no way around it, then i dont know what will happen after that but I'm in agreement with all of you something has to give and there clock has been ticking long enough. They have had ample time to iron the fires out so to speak now its time the UN take some action beccause we all know we won't let Iraq fail.
