11 Bravo
I spelled Guarantee correctly this week for those of you that mind. Everyone needs to take a step back. HCL and Erbil agreement not passed, Chapter 7 sanctions are not lifted. This is all as of 0200 this morning. I hope Adam is scratching his head to. I thaught that this was going to happen before Ramadan, or right after. The only holdups that I know of are political issues in Iraq. Nothing else. When this happens it will npt be a surprise that only OOM knows. It will be in the news Worldwide. I truely hope that this will be resolved soon. The Kurds and Iraqi people need to be one. The Kurds are very proud, and have always been independent. They have tried to become part of Iraq, but do not feel that Iraq is taking them in as equals. The Kurds have been taking shiz from Iran that keeps getting worse. Why has Iraq not made a stand to help the Kurds. Believe me the Kurds can and will survive with or without the help of Iraq, but what is this all about. http://www.lhrtimes.com/kurd-rebels-forced-from-northwestern-iran-guards.html http://www.lhrtimes.com/iran-to-finish-off-kurd-rebels-in-days-commander.html This I feel is the relationship that is holding eveything up. I also do not believe that the Kurds are going to wait much longer. The Kurds have always had to kick arse for their little place in the sand, and I feel that if they do not get the suport the deserve, you will see the arse kicking starting back up full scale. I hope they can get Erbil agreement done very soon. HCL means nothing to Kurds. Must be complete Erbil agreement. It is possable for this to happen this week, so Chance of RV is higher than 0% NOT MUCH I do not feel it this week gang 11
Dalite
Thanks for the update. Iraq needs the Kurds to lead the country out of the Dark Ages. Just like the joke about why the Chicken crossed the Road was to prove to the Armadillo that it could be done, Kurdistan will set the example that prosperity is possible. The Kurdish mindset is not limited by the Arab way of thinking. They use their heads; not Hubris to solve problems. It is a radical concept to Arab thinking; understood at birth by most other developed cultures. Maliki has to go... If allowed to stay, he will just do momentary retreats to shrink from the actions of a dictator, only to re- emerge as soon as the threat to his power subsides. The issue of Kirkuk and Kuwait need to be resolved. They are both border issues, and once again the predominant mindset says why give up anything we can successfully steal by contesting it another three or four centuries. There is no concern by the leaders to do anything for the citizens. Mindset again. A trip to Kurdistan makes you forget where you are. Civilization, water, electricity, waste treatment, Malls, everything you would expect in a western civilization. Iraq, not so much. As long as the politicians are fat, happy and protected, there is no incentive for progress. It is only when the are threatened by being reduced one step down toward the squalor the rest live in, that they perform. They are so comfortable with third world status..... Here's hoping that the Kurds and Allawi form a strong alliance, and Maliki slips in the shower and hits his head. 8

Not the ramblings of utter nonsense. Much of which is transpiring here . So much this past two weeks has me to the point of , " I must refrain from the hourly checks to see if there is anything new happening." This doesnt mean that I have to stop learning about this process just need to back off. For the life of me I just cant see how some of the BS garners such attention and replies and polls...I guess we are all just so "wanting this to be over" ...To all of you out there that keep posting good stuff and even the thought provoking stuff ....Thanks .....Chris.... They ( Kurds) have always been mistreated by various Countries' Powers That Be ( namely Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran) as they were seen as a serious threat to those Countries wholeness /National Unity because of their pride and consequent Indipendent stances..Also because of their general leftist political thoughts and radical ideas on social justice etc...They were massacred on various occasions.... Unfortunately.... Edited September 25, 2011 by umbertino

Dalite......excellent analogy..spot on. 1+. Thanks for your posts Gentlemen !! HCL is important. It is part of the Erbil Agreement. Some people thunk that the HCL will be passed on its own, then the complete Erbil Agreement. If this happens, I feel that it would drive a wedge between the Kurds and the rest of Iraq. Will this RV happen before 2020? I hope so I hope you're wrong this week. Me too Also the Jets screwed my Million Dollar Football Plan. Done for another year. Total loss $4.00 Juice Got to keep the bookies off your back.
