Think about this for a minute, because I was tossing and turning thinking about this last night. Wanna hear some input and if anyone else has the same qualms I do.

What if...the zeros are lopped off (not just delete) and they say, "this is worth this now" and come out with new currency? What if it then RV'd to even 1:1 after?

Figure you buy big bills ... 500,000 IQD at $600 or 1,000,000 for $1100 (prices I've seen). Say they lop the 3 zeros. Say it goes 1:1. Say you're like me and this is all you've really invested.

Your $1100USD/1,000,000 IQD has now become $1,000. AND you get hit with exchange feeds AND you get hit with taxes.

Your $600USD/500,000 IQD has now become $500 and the same continues.

Say they revalue to $3-4USD / $1IQD. You now have $3,000 - $4,000 before taxes / exchange. And you spent weeks, months, years hearing and reading these internet rumors. In the end, you have a turnaround just as much as a great night at a casino.

Anyone else share these fears?

Maybe you didn't read everything.

You didn't have to risk money on the possibility this would never happen? You didn't work at all to take out whatever money you put in, send it in and wait for this to hopefully RV?

Seriously. We're under the idea that the money will RV at some point from anywhere to a penny on the dollar to 3 or 4. You wouldn't be a bit upset that after all the waiting and speculation that instead of having say... a million dollars you'd only have $1,000? Factor in the exchange fees and taxes, you'd lose out on your initial investment.

Maybe I'm just young and naive, but I figure that would be both work and risk.

Truf...that's exactly what i think will happen. But not 1:1, probably a better return like 3:1.

But if you were a country or millionaire that has invested a large sum of money, a 3:1 return is pretty damn good!
