k98nights
US caused 9/11 terror attacks, Bush regretted Iraq war: Tony Bennett Published: Wednesday, Sep 21, 2011, 15:22 IST Place: Washington, DC | Agency: ANI Legendary singer Tony Bennett has given a shocking statement that 'America had caused the 9/11 terror attacks,’ and that former President George Bush had told him that he regretted the war in Iraq. Bennett, who describes himself as a pacifist, spoke about 9/11 and the Iraq war on Howard Stern's Sirius radio show. “They flew the plane in, but we caused it. Because we were bombing them and they told us to stop,” the Daily Mail quoted him, as saying. On being asked how the US should deal with the terrorists responsible for the World Trade Centre attacks, the singer, a World War II veteran, said: “But who are the terrorists?" Bennett said, according to ABC News. "Are we the terrorists or are they the terrorists? Two wrongs don't make a right." He also claimed that in 2005, then-President Bush had told him how he regretted the Iraq war. “He told me personally that night that, he said, 'I think I made a mistake,” Bennett added. Bennett also said that his experiences as a teenager in combat in the Second World War forever changed his position on war. http://www.dnaindia.com/world/report_us-caused-9-11-terror-attacks-bush-regretted-iraq-war-tony-bennett_1589844? 3

Jaxinjersey
Thanks for your service Tony, but any pacifist views... especially in regard to terrorism... would lead to our demise. 5

The source of ones facts are determined by what they wish to justify and promote. If the information is negative to their intent it will not be used. When a writer is looking to justify a position only the material in agreement with their position is the only truth. I understand and know that history needs to be changed for legitimate reasons. New information is discovered which changes our perspective; points researched, verified by peer reviews, and established as fact. But changing history to promote MY agenda or a GROUP agenda is an unbalanced falsification of facts. So you must ask who is putting out this information and why. What is their purpose and is it a fact? I see a destructive purpose and unsubstantiated theory in these links. Therefore I choose to label the above as pure fat without any meat. Or, as so eloquently been said, BS! NOw we have another "HOLLYWOOD TYPE".....telling us he has high level intel...maybe Bennett is OKIES contact.... I heard the interview with T. T Bennett is seeing the situations from several perspectives. Most of the country is seeing what has been framed for us to focus on. nointel
some of you people are just plain naive. when it comes to the us and our so called leaders you believe everything they tell you without question. same thing goes for the dinar. just because some of these idiots say they have intel or own a dinar site you don't question it at all. wake up people and get a clue. this country is still great but everything isn't as it appears on the outside. and as far as the dinar it has a chance to make us some money but the longer we wait, i have a feeling we aren't going to be as rich as we thought. and i'm sure those who have spent every extra penny they had on dinar may. be very disapointed. i don't know why i'm even taking time to write this response. the last 3 or so posts i have written haven't made it to the forum since i am now on mod review. FrankenSLI
This discussion could go on and on. Pro war vs anti war, pro intervention vs anti intervention, and all the other subjects of the matter. I am not too blind to see that the US and/or UN does not typically intervene unless there is something to gain in the end, but I also believe that we have done much good in this world as well.

LS1Hawk
Anyone who still believes that a few "Radicals" were able to penetrate our defenses, not only fly a few planes into the twin towers, but get through our 24-7 STAND BY FIGHTER PILOTS and fly a plane into the PENTAGON? We are not that pathetic. We would we be a Military Superpower if we were that vulnerable, not likely. Look. You want the Smoking gun that unravels the INSIDE JOB. Start asking about Building 7. Of better yet, watch this video that shows it falling in a controlled demolition. What OTHER buildings fell Like this one. Hmmmm. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZEvA8BCoBw Warning!!! touchedthesky
“Naturally, the common people don’t want war. but after all, it is the leaders of a country who determine the policy. and it is always a simple matter to drag people along whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders, This is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country” – *(Hermann Goering) This was said by Hermann Goering during the Nuremberg trials. Right is still right even when few stand by it. Wrong is still wrong even when many are deceived by it. 2

snakes251
Oh man, this is gonna spark another flurry of 9/11 conspiracy theories. I think it's a given that the Bush Administration knew in advance it was going to happen, and used it as a pretext for war with Iraq. Not gonna beat that dead horse anymore. 2

Or, as so eloquently been said, BS! I grew up in Asia and I saw with my own eyes what empire building is all about. Every third world country is considered fair game to be exploited. Their main means of doing this is by bribing greedy/naive leaders of countries into taking huge IMF loans for white elephant projects. Inevitably the country becomes beholden and enslaved to the IMF/World Bank. No country that has any kind of wealth (oil/mineral/forests) worth plundering will be allowed to have a leader that works for the interest of his people. Every time they come across an incorruptible leader, a Mossadeq, Arbens, or Chavez, through the machinations of the CIA they will either overthrow him, play assassination games with him, or if that does not work find a pretext to wage outright war. The idea is not a difficult one to grasp. The whole world must be kept open to the multinationals to come in and rape at their pleasure. They don't care about human rights, the environment, the poverty they cause, the children they abuse as labourers, none of it matters, as long as they make their profit. I challenge you to furnish this thread with a single example where what I have described does not happen.

And, yes, it does make a difference. Why is my age relevant Nel? I am more than willing to stand corrected if you or anyone else can tell me that it doesn't happen the way I believe it does. Germany is not a third world country and well you know it. I am not prejudiced, I actually really like Americans (big hearted, good people), but i detest the international banker cabal that has taken over your country. Once it was a free and beautiful country (everybody, everybody wanted a slice of the American dream) but they have turned it into a very good impression of a police state. Kids can't even run a lemonade stand no more! Every time an American wants to fly he has to be prepared to be sexually assaulted. Is that really keeping American safe. The other alternative is go through that machine that unzips your DNA. Soon if it not already it will be by the corporation for the corporation. If it was my country I certainly wouldn't be supporting Democrats or the Republicans. They are all the same. Psychopaths who are intent on destroying everything America stands for, so that it can become another China, the model for their new world order. 2
