The statement says that Turkish Air Force has destroyed 152 objects of Kurd separatists in operations on the Kandil Mountain since Aug.17. According to the statement, The Turkish Air Force aircrafts conducted air strikes to the positions and arsenals of terrorists. Air strikes were conducted after the militants’ terror attack in southeastern Turkey on Aug.17, killing nine Turkish servicemen. This was Turkey’s first attack on northern Iraq in over a year. The conflict between Turkey and the PKK has lasted for over 25 years, claiming over 40,000 lives. hero Posted September 21, 2011 Report Share Posted September 21, 2011 The PPK are nothing more than Kurdish rebels whose objective is to separate their culture from surrounding cultures in the countries of Iraq, Syria, Turkey, and Iran. They are the Kurdish rogues that fight for an independent Kurdistan. They are not in line with Al Qaeda. I met several of these fighters when I was in Zakho, Kurdistan.
