Republican Gathering demands the government adopt firm stance to protect Iraq

Baghdad (NINA) – The Republican Gathering demanded the Iraqi government “to adopt firm stance towards the violations on the Iraqi borders that undermine Iraq’s sovereignty.”

In a statement issued today “the government’s silence and not adopting a firm stance towards the ongoing Iranian and Turkish bombing of the Iraqi borders and cutting the rivers’ water which led to the migration of hundreds of families marks clear weakness in the government’s ability to maintain Iraq’s sovereignty, security, dignity and borders.”

The Gathering demanded the government to “adopt a firm stance towards these violations and to inform the international bodies and convince the Iraqi people that it could solve things and protect the country.” /End/
