I called and did not hear that recording regarding IQD...so not sure what's going on. Maybe they are in process of changing the message and still have a few lines that haven't been changed as of yet. Just hopeful thinking :P

I called this morn a little b4 8 est and it wasn't there. I called back after 8 and it was back. That hurt my feelings.

Good news...My WF branch manager said as soon as the ID RVs & goes int'l & tradeable, he will do business with me. No exchange fees if I keep my account current. Right now interest is only paying .025%. He said that rate can be negociated for larger accounts. Some people are getting up to 6% guaranteed for large accounts over $150,000. That's a very good return in this day & age & without the risks.

Open up several bank account with no more than $100,000 in each account. That way, if a bank bellies up, your FDIC insured.

Plus 1 for you! laugh.gif

Don't ya just love OKIE's grammer!

INTELEGENT INTEL! laugh.gif

I'm not an Okie fan, but gotta give him some style points for properly using "faunching". Believe it or not, it is a real word - a verb meaning to rage or fight against restraint. Guess what - I even have a link! *lol*

I'm not positive, but i'm under the impression that the $250k limit is total for all interest bearing accounts. Suggest to everyone PLEASE see a CPA/lawyer before doing anything with your Dinar post RV.

Not true . . . . $250,000 is the FDIC insured amount (it use to be $100,00 but was raised a few years ago). As far as having several accounts, that is true IF it is done correctly. . . . . EXAMPLE: You CAN have 1 account in your name only and another account in your wifes name only, that will be covered by the FDIC. . . . . . . If you have an account in your name and another account in "you and your wife's name", then only one of the accounts will be covered by FDIC. . . . . . . If you want to be covered with several accounts in your name, the accounts will have to be in different banks, By different banks, I mean completely different, not same branch of bank but in different towns. Completely different banks. . . . Bank of America, Wells Fargo, USA Bank, etc.

That is what I was told by a bank president years ago. If I am wrong or things has changed, then feel free to correct me.

However, if banks crash, the FDIC will have no money to pay anyone the $250,000. . . . . I think the best bet would be to buy silver or gold and hide it in the mattress if you think bank will crash.

So much BS one statement says can't divulge date that is set in granite due to secrecy and then out of the other side of his mouth this could pop any minute! Which is it?? Has the credibility of a pathological liar.

What was the branch and number of that bank. Everyone and Anyone, go to the Wells Fargo website and look under their foreign currency that they offer. I can assure you that there will be no Iraqi Dinar listed. You can order Kuwaiti Dinar, but not Iraqi. I am throwing the BS flag on this one.

[/quote ] For YOU that is throwing the BS Flag..I was told that I could order the Iraqi Dinar..Now maybe you know more than the manager that works there but instead of looking up the website I will give you the branch number..and the phone number::::: #01323 in Cloquet, Minnesota Phone number for the foreign Exchange is 1-800-678-4653............if you are a Wells Fargo account holder.. Which I am..Your order will be delivered via express mail the following Business day...Check it out for yourself....

Ok not to be Dun Dun Dah Captain Obvious, but what in Sam H E Double Hockey Sticks is "FAUNCHING AT THE BIT"??? Does that translate to "Chomping"? If so, that just makes me laugh at what "Chokie" posts more and more. Unbe****inlievable, if you are going to blow smoke up our skirt/pants, at least have some grammar skills and eloquence about it. Then, MAYBE, I and a few more DV's may believe it, just a LITTLE more. Otherwise it comes off as you are a scammer trying to pass your intel as the rest of us pass gas in disgust to your ill attempt at dispensing what YOU think is truth. Now, if in fact Mr. Chokie is right on this, I will be the first in line to apologize right after I give him some Irish Sunglasses. If you have to ask what they are, then you have never been HIT!

PS...And yes the reason why you see that I have edited it right after I post is because I find type-o's that I HAVE to fix! Sorry, mom was a stickler for grammar.

"Faunching at the bit" implies waiting in nervous agitation and impatience.

"Chomping at the bit" implies that one is ready to go. Or, the horse is ready to run.

this is one of those wishful thinking post and i am actually with them on this one. wells fargo had a recording that would play b4 you were connected to a live operator stating that they don't do iraqi dinar. that recording was removed today. the reason everyone is so stoked about it is b/c we are all hoping that is another sign that the RV is closer than we think. we all know that us banks are not dealing with the iraqi dinar. we all, also, know that us banks would be total idiots to not start exchanging dinar once the RV is done.

UM...with who on this one? Yes the recording is gone, NO Wells Fargo does not deal with the Dinar, who's asking anyone to pick a side? This is very simple if you ask me.
