Hakim stresses the need for withdrawal of occupation forces from Iraq

The head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq Ammar al-Hakim on Wednesday, the need for the withdrawal of U.S. occupation forces from Iraq at the end of this year, calling on all parties in the country to work hard to remove Iraq from Chapter VII.

Mr. Hakim during the Eid sermon, which was held yesterday in Baghdad: "There are many variables that have been observed during the last period of the continuing differences between the political blocs and the security breaches and files rampant corruption and this is what led to the creation of a spirit of frustration with the Iraqi people."

He added: "It must be a clear strategic planning in the country to promote the reality of Iraq deteriorating," and called for political blocs to take advantage of the holidays to discard differences for the sake of the citizen.

Mr. Hakim and stressed the need to respect and uphold the Constitution as its content legally and not to allow any questioning Aotadhaik it, indicating that it does not prevent the amendment of some articles, also called for respect of powers between the institutions of the state to build the state institutions.

On the other hand, condemned the recent bombings in the holy month, especially targeting the Umm al-Qura mosque in Baghdad, and stressed the need to focus the intelligence effort in the fight against terrorism.

He called on Mr. Hakim's political blocs to work on a concerted effort to remove Iraq from Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations, noting that "the government to restore full sovereignty of Iraq as well as to identify common interests between Iraq and the countries of the world
