I have given my opinion in the past that when they do RV at the same time make the dinar the only currency which can be used in all transactions in the native country {iraq] allow the citizens to turn in the dollars for an equal amount of dinars--- but holding and using dollars would be useless just as holding dinars or dong here in the US are usless for day to day transactions, there will not become rich by turning in the dollars it is opposite from our position as spectulators in dinar! there could be a small black market in converting but the Iraqi banks would exchange at a better rate and without becoming a criminal! That should be the real message being sent , better value in dinars and no more dollars----could that be another interpetation of both currencies side by side for a period time! It is all about the arab mind not american thinking
