I'll believe it when I see one of these generals standing in the doorway of the Ministry of Defense HQ surrounded by his pee-ons.

I can understand the concern to get the right guy. Whoever it is will have the power to become the next dictator if things go south!

Keyword: "intends"

Never words of action.

Here is a typical story:

Today in Iraq we were expecting a meeting that was intended to resolve a big concern. Later we were informed that the intentions of the intended meeting were simply preliminary to the real meeting. In the next few months Maliki believes they can establish a resolution once the intended meeting take place. Currently the date is tentative and while the people of Iraq are in need of help, the GOI intends to make this a priority as they intend to plan a meeting to discuss their options of intention.

Frustrating. They are going to have to get with the program if they want Iraq to be the mecca of the middle east. But it kind of reminds me of a small town, its a meeting when everyone shows up but if they don't there is always another day.

Actually your example makes more sense and explains their intentions in greater detail. I like you typical story though it clears some things up.

Well let's see: Rhamadan ends on Wednesday, August 31 at sundown. Thursday is a back to work day for them, about like the Friday after Thanksgiving for us with not much happening. Then comes Friday, the muslum holyday. Saturday starts our weekend (nothing going on thru Saturday or Sunday). Ah then Monday is Labor Day. Between them having their Rhamadan, one workday after Rhamadan, a holy day, our weekend and Labor Day nobody's going to feel much like working for at least another week.

We'll Be Workin' Hard At Nothing All Day.:huh:
