Below is a cheat sheet for Dinars if you are watching the forex.

$ RATE = What you will see on Forex

$ .86 = 1.162

$ 1.00 = 1.000

1.17 = 0.854

1.86 = 0.537

2.00 = 0.500

2.50 = 0.400

3.00 = 0.333

3.22 = 0.310

3.46 = 0.289

3.50 = 0.285

3.86 = 0.259

4.00 = 0.250

4.10 = 0.243

4.40 = 0.227

5.00 = 0.200

5.25 = 0.190

5.50 = 0.181

6.00 = 0.166

7.00 = 0142

8.00 = 0.125

8.25 = .0121

Lol, Thanks for the info....Only one problem the rate it's going to be is not on here nobody knows what it is but it's definitely not some speculated rate from a false prophet...only time will tell and only God knows that time!

I think even God would have a hard time knowing the time when it comes to the IQD.

I think phoenix has the best reasoning from any rate i have seen........he says, and if you think about it, it does make sense, that all the goods in the stores have two prices right now......USD and IQD...........the RV coming out around the dollar makes sense.........doesnt upset everyday buisness.........iraqi's start to have faith in their currency..........it is a good place to start....anyway......GO DINAR

One us dollar is 1.20 Libyan dinar, or one Libya dinar is .83 you must have read it backwards, which this morning it was .86 funny because Iraqi dinar .00086 ill have to check if that changed to mimic Libya.

Now iqd is .00085 so there was a small change.

Ok, I feel really stupid, but I don't understand the chart. Can someone explain it for me?

Check the 1.00 to 1.000 rate (second on chart)... that is a dinar (the 1.000) to $1.00.

After that it takes less than 1 dinar to make a buck so the number is "below" a 1 (i.e. .800).

From there the lower the decimal-ed number the higher the value, say .2500 = $4.00 (in this case it is 4 x .25 =1... so the "4" is the rate... $4.00)

Example.. "IF" the rate came in at .25 Dinar to 1 US Dollar = $1 US / .25 Dinar = 4.000 on the Forex 1/.25 = 4

Going Higher.. "IF" the rate were to be $13 US to 1 Dinar = .076 on the Forex (UNHEARD of IMHO!) 1/13=.076

I'm sure this chart that ngodstust2 posted was just to be used as a reference and not as the gospel of what the rate WILL be.

Part of it might be due to the fact they didn't have 2 wars and all those sanctions. They had a few sanctions ( Libya) but not to the level of Iraq. Also not owing money to other countries also for the war ( Kuwait) could help explain all that.

So where does this person get the cheat sheet? They did math of what was possible?
