You seem to enjoy bashing and the attention you get for doing it. No one forces you to read these posts...you choose to do so and can't not let anything go without posting something nasty in response. I however will not acknowledge your negativity again.

Believe it or not, in a sense, he is indirectly contributing. If more people would step-up and argue against his ideas, opinions, and so forth with facts - we may all become better educated. I think it was this topic, where I shows the graph with inflation. 2004, Turkey hit below 10%. That was the same time-frame they did their lop. Same time period for Iraq - they were decreasing the % of inflation. It had a slight peek in 05/06, but in 07, had reached as low as 4% or so. Keep in mind, since 2007, it has remained rather steady. So, if they were following Turkey's example, than I wonder why they did not do their R/D in 2007, when inflation hit a low point. It has been roughly 4 years, pushing 5 of relatively low inflation. So a better question to ask is, do countries normally sit with a few years of low inflation prior to doing a LOP? Another difference between Turkey & Iraq is the amount of zeros being deleted. 6 vs. 3, not sure if that impacts much.. But I am quite sure many people in turkey knew it would not R/V. notes in the 1,000s do successfully exist in other econimies with strong exchange rates (See: Singapore)
