Popular Post stetson145
Oh No, not another bank story! Oh Yes, BUT, this one is first hand...and it's "mine"! Today I went to my small WF branch, from where I have been sending my wire orders to DB for almost two years now. Most of them were sent by the same gentleman so we began discussing the dinar investment some time ago. His story was always the same...I was wasting my money, it would never RV, be very careful, they were being told it was a scam, etc., etc., etc. But "today", I went in to send a wire to DB and was waited on by a gentleman I've never seen before. While he was typing my wire, I noticed his name tag said he was the Branch Manager. Since I knew the Branch Mgr. I questioned him about it. He told me he was the Mgr. of all the Mgrs. as well as everyone else in this branch, and was usually in a back office. I said well, then you're the guy that has "all" the answers around here...right? His response...I hope so! Next I said you guys must be gearing up for the Iraqi dinar exchange...he stopped typing, looked up at me and said "yes" we are almost ready ......and it's going to happen "sooner rather than later!!! You need to see our lead private banker if you haven't already done so, and gave me the private bankers card. About then, he called over another guy who was walking past, and introduced him to me. Told me he had just joined WF...and had come over from Chase Bank. I mentioned that we were just discussing the Iraqi Dinar...and said, so I suppose Chase is also getting ready for the big exchange? His answer also was "yes". After I then mentioned BOA he said, we're all preparing for this to happen very soon! We left things at, that he will introduce me to their lead private banker Mon. or Tues. I finished by letting him know that I have numerous questions I will be asking them, as well as the bankers at Chase and BOA before I decide who might handle what for me. Yaaaaaah!!!! despain
Thanks for the bank rumor. So, get back to us on Monday or Tuesday...with another bank rumor. No disrespect, but, as you know, this isn't the first one posted on DV. I gave you a plus one for honesty or effort. Either way...it's a good one. oops...reached my quota of positive votes. Sorry... 4

DinarDana
Nice story, however you have no credibility here on this forum because this is your first post here. I do think you are very pumped about what you heard and good for you, if I hear this and was part of this I would have been so excited. Good luck here on this forum with this story. 3

Bank Guy
Sorry...but he was either pulling your leg or you made this up. Wells Fargo does not even include The Dinar as a rate on their screens anymore. Only trade-able currency shows now! But....we shall see. 4

Kittykins
I hear so much crap that it's all going to happen sooner rather than later, tomorrow or ANY day after that. I will have to take this with a grain of salt. Your FIRST post should have been introducing yourself instead of pumping. Would have been slightly more credible. but then that is ONLY MY take on it. Thanks for sharing though. 6

estewart
Well, that's a really exciting report. Really, really, sets one on the edge one's chair. And the thing is, it could be valid. I've used Wells Fargo for trading Canadian Dollars into USD, before, where the Canadian Dollars I had were left over from a trip to Vancouver. Wells Fargo does handle foreign currencies, and the fact that they do not handle the Dinar now does not mean they still won't after an RV. They could very well be handling it then, and be prepared to do so in advance.

Rayzur
I'm wondering if Wells Fargo is having some kind of campaign in general these days...... I went in today, to get a cashier check (first time ever to this particular vendor with innocous name) and spent more time there meeting more people than ever in the past 20 years. Going in for straight forward transaction, the teller looked at my account, and before I left we talked about refinancing the mortgage they carry, refinancing the one they don't carry, and I met the manager, the personal banker, the wealth management advisor (yes this was Saturday), and had 4 business cards in my valet as I left. And at this writing, the mortgage specialist has already emailed me wanting to set up the appointment, and requesting the preliminary information. And for the record, the word dinar, the concept dinar, or words foreign currency were never mentioned, stated, said, or even whispered. ....... Sooooo I'm thinking it might just be that WF is just rolling out some extra energy in working with its customers to make sure everything is in order? Maybe its not so much dinar related as it is economy related and making sure the customer is happy and well positioned? I's love it to be dinar related... and just a thought that maybe its not? Blessings~~

thejordans4
Why do bank stories always come from newbies? I tell you, I have a pair of socks in my sock drawer that knees as much about the RV as a banker does. 1

vastdream
Oh please people... quit with the judgmental know it all bull crap. This is a fine post and you have no more credibility that someone with only one post. Number of posts is no determinant. Period. And your responses are pure opinion, at least he provided a sensible and no-nonsense recount. It's irrelevant what you think, what matters is if it's true. The truth is, you have no idea because you weren't there. I just read this and I can't help but want to just tell some of you to shut up and keep your snobbery to yourselves. Pathetic. If you don't want to hear good rumors, don't. If you don't have one, then shut up. But I know it all stems from a deeper need to feel superior and part of a super smart bunch. I expect it to keep up until this is over. Good story, keep it up. Thanks for the post. 17
Jimmyreno
So... I have spent many nights drinking many beers trying to make up a killer rumor. Kudos to the newbie for posting the truth or doing the best you can to make up a good story. I was at my wells Fargo bank today and the manager and I had the same laugh we've been having for three years. I said you'll be sorry for doubting, and he said I'll be sorry for believing. I can't be pumped as I have all I am buying, which is more than most, but not as many as some. Like all of us I don't care what people say or think about us dinarionaires. We will be the ones laughing soon!!! J.R.
