I'm taking it to mean no LOP because it says it is going to be a smooth, gradual process that does not affect daily exchange, and that both currencies will remain in circulation.

No LOP. Shabbs wants his currency to be STRONG and POWERFUL...a LOP ain't gonna do that. When the new currency comes out, your 25,000 Dinar note will be worth the same as 25 x 1,000 Dinar notes.

Shabbs was also heard to say that he and his financial Team have learned from the lopping in Turkey....they learned what NOT to do.

So chin up. No need to worry...we're almost there. hang on to your Dinars!!!

Some may call me an enthusiastic optimist, but I have always felt that if Iraq were to print new smaller denoms of currency (coins/paper), that the new and the old currency (the type we all hold) would coexist together until all of the 000's have been "removed from circulation".

IMHO, there will be no LOP or RD and I made a prediction in an earlier post today of what I believe the new rate for the IQD would be based upon economic factors and the Kuwaiti Dinar.
