Where is America headed

Let us think for a minute, how did we as a nation get into this predictiment. Many reasons and many theories can be made as to the pathway that brought America to this point. This nation has been sliding down this slippery slope for years in good times and bad while all the citizens were amused with other things. Fewer and fewer people were interested in the politics and welfare of this nation and the younger generation could give a hoot less about who's running for what. Fact remains that the people we have let occupy yes occupy and rule over us, make decisions for us and about us that should be voted on as a whole has finally come to be a beast. The Parties of this nation Republican and Democrat have molded people into thinking mentality to their benefit. It is not about what political party is best its about what right and who will do the best. Free spirit the ability to decide for ourselves has been reduced and will be reduced even more .

Why is it that this nation will not put on its caring shoes and have a conscience until something bad has happened or is forming. This can be answered inside each one of us. Every elected official that holds office in Washington may have good intenions upon their arrival but their attitude is quickly changed by the old timers who teach them the spin of the game. You scratch my back and i'll scratch yours. TERM LIMITS should have become law years ago. Now our representatives have the mindset that we send them up there to decide our daily lives in what ever fashion they so desire just as long as we are not bothered with it......There is no reason on earth that a person should hold power over the people for as many years as some of these have been there. People become blind as to their real meaning of what they were elected for.

So here we are 2011 our nation in choas, Washington fighting between themselves in the name of their parties just so the winner can crow about it. Two wars going on in the name of national security, your citizen privacy rights being stripped away and hidden in bills passed each day so no one will notice. Free market reforms, Corporations being allowed to ship jobs over seas in the name of profit, Congress sending billions of dollars to countries that don't need it to buy friendship. Banks being allowed to foreclose on peoples homes for a double dip of profit. Billions of dollars given in bailouts to banks for bonuses and misuse. Wall street and CEO's responsible for crimes and not a one of them going to jail and the list foes on and on.

Now does this sound like your senator, representative and presidents have your interest in mind. Does this sound like they are working for you or the special interest groups who line their pockets under the table. When was the last time they offered you a bailout in time of need and now our govt is mounting a behind the scenes legistlation to suppress us even farther. The constitution is not a guideline to be referenced anymore it is a historical paper in print. They have sorta been like a trojan horse, while the citizens of the US is preoccupied with other interest they have done their dirty work.....So here we are do we as a nation keep on sticking our head in the sand and turning a blind eye or has our nation been shaken enough to say, "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH" have you suffered enough now to take a stand against what is going on. How much more will you let your homeland sink before you wake up. There are 400 plus million people here in this country that can change things. It is going to take everyone of us and I hope for our sakes we find a way. JMO Heavyduty05

Well, we have to get rid of the Federal Reserve and Lobbyist for sure. Not everyone in this country want the same change. I for one am worried about my childrens future and so on. It's funny how we can take care of other countries needs but not our own. We are the redheaded step child of our country (no offense to red heads). It's ok to give an illegal alien Medicaid, a foreigner tax breaks to set up shop and so on...I could be here all day bitchin' but, will it do any good, no.

We need to create jobs, which will put folks back to work which will allow them to spend more money and pay taxes. Thats how you increase taxes. Now who creates jobs? The rich or the poor? I have never seen a poor person create jobs. Just for an example. When my dinar hits, Im going to invest in a couple of businesses. Those businesses will pay me a salary, I will have people working for me. They will spin off income for me. If my income goes down then I will have to layoff people. If my income goes up I will employ more people and expand my business because I have the money from the dinar to do it. I live in Conn. Our Democratic Govenor just increased our State Income tax to 6% for those families making over $150,000. In Conn thats not alot. So I plan to make my residence in Florida where there is no state income tax and there are no estate taxes. That will save me 6% on my dinar, 6% on the interest I receive on my dinar money and my estate will go to my kids not the State of Conn. Just something to think about.

Sounds like a winning attitude, first you say create jobs put people back to work so more taxes will come, then you say if things get rough you gonna head to a state that done have state taxes. You say a poor person has never created a job well how many wealthy lay off and make their employees do more work with less people so they can profit more......Think about it. is this a solution to this countries problem joining the ranks of the tax avaders instead of helping find a real answer.

Very thoughtful post Heavy. I believe this gives folks a lot to think about.

And waking up to the De Facto gov. is one of them.

We The People CAN win, but first we must recognize this .....Please read:.

...............................................................................

The United States exists in two forms:

The original United States that was in operation until 1860; a collection of sovereign Republics in the union.

Under the original Constitution the States controlled the Federal Government; the Federal Government

did not control the States and had very little authority.

The original United States has been usurped by a separate and different UNITED STATES formed in 1871,

which only controls the District of Columbia and it’s territories, and which is actually a corporation

(the UNITED STATES CORPORATION) that acts as our current government.

The United States Corporation operates under Corporate/Commercial/Public Law rather than Common/Private Law.

The original Constitution was never removed; it has simply been dormant since 1871. It is still intact to this day.

This fact was made clear by Supreme Court Justice Marshall Harlan (Downes v. Bidwell, 182, U.S. 244 1901)

by giving the following dissenting opinion: “Two national governments exist; one to be maintained under the

Constitution, with all its restrictions; the other to be maintained by Congress outside and Independently of that Instrument.”

The Restore America Plan reclaimed the De Jure institutions of government of the 50 State Republics in order to

restore Common Law that represents the voice of the people and ends Corporate Law that ignores the voice of the

people while operating under Maritime/Admiralty/International Law.

This occurred when warrants were delivered to all 50 Governors on March 30, 2010.

The rewritten Constitution of the UNITED STATES CORPORATION bypasses the original

Constitution for the United States of America, which explains why our Congressmen and Senators don’t abide by it,

and the President can write Executive Orders to do whatever he/she wants. They are following corporate laws that

completely strip sovereigns of their God given unalienable rights. Corporate/Commercial/Public Law is not sovereign

(private), as it is an agreement between two or more parties under contract.

Common Law (which sovereigns operate under) is not Commercial Law; it is personal and private.

To understand this document, you need to understand some basic terms. Visit www.usavsus.info for complete understanding.

The basic terms are:

De Jure – Existing by right or according to law; original, lawful. Common Law operates under De Jure terms.

De Facto – In practice but not necessarily ordained by law; in fact, in reality.

Corporate Law operates under De Facto terms.

I, for one, have contended that "the Silent Majority" would finally say, enough is enough and get engaged with what is happening to our country. I think you have seen the first vestiges of that with the Tea Party. It is clearly time for the citizens to take back their country from self-serving, career politicians that make decisions based on how it affects their reelection chances. Your point on term liimits is well-taken and is something that should be strongly pushed by us - the people.

Whether the country can rebound from the recent push toward socialism has yet to be seen, however, I believe in the resiliancy of the American people and their innate sense of what is right for this country moving forward. Our greatest days can be before us. We need to believe that and make the decisions that will bring that end about.

Usually I agree with you Heavy, but the more people get laid off from a place of business usually that business is no longer able to produce as much product to then turn around and sell for a profit. This will also in turn shrink what the rich man brings home. I am not saying that what you are saying does not happen, because it does! Because too many bosses think they can make the short reports look good by laying someone off work, this will then give the appearance that they have a growth in revenue. But it is short lived, as it soon becomes apparent that if you don't sell the same amount of your product then you don't get paid as much either! And usually there is a reduced amount of product that is produced when you lay off people. So no the easy way to doctor the books to show a profit is short lived and soon will have a decrease in overall revenue and not the best way to run a business.

A good business man (or rich man) will hire more, to increase production or product to sell thus increasing the revenue in the long run and growth is abundant! Of course the real trick is you have to have a product that is in demand. So there are many reasons and ways to grow a business but laying people off for the reason of getting big cash bonuses is not and will never be wise. In any economy.

Peace. :D

A while back I worked on a local reservation. I emphasized the difference between heritage and tradition. Tradition is what a person does which defines them while heritage is what a person believes which defines them. Tradition is able to be changable where heritage is supposed to be more constant. America has gotten into this mess by focusing on tradition and abandoning heritage. It was the tradition of not wanting to offend anyone and the abandonment of the heritage of a belief in God that got the majority to keep quiet while Madaline Murry O'Hare rammed her beliefs down the throats of Americans. It was the tradition of 'yes we need to take care of the poor' and the abandonment of ther heritage that if you can work and are too lazy to do so that you should go hungry that has gotten us into a welfare nation. It was the tradition of 'come to America' and the adandonment of 'become an American' that has gotten us into the problem of millions of illegals draining our governmental systems. It was the tradition of 'the government can make it better' and the adandonment of 'the responsibility of the parents' that has gotten us into the problem of the schools not teaching homosexuality, liberalism and changing history to be sterilized. It was the tradition of 'do what you want' and the adandonment of personal responsibilities which has gotten us into the problem of a legal system that is basically worthless and has no teeth. It was the tradition of 'people's rights' and the abandonment of the heritage of 'people's duties' which has gotten us into a problem of a government which does not expect accountability.

Heavy, your original post is wonderful. However, calling someone a tax evader because their state taxes are too high and they move is wrong in my opinion. Ronald Reagan use to love to say "they could vote with their feet." Freedom means that you are free to leave. A free country is one where the people who live in a state can freely leave. However, most people don’t take advantage of their freedom. Take California for example, when the idiot liberal politicians raise taxes more and more for more idiotic reasons and spend the state into bankruptcy because they can't stay within a budget and spend and spend, then it is a right to leave that situation and go where the politicians are more responsible and don't waste taxpayer money on ignorant crap.

Yes, I agree with Tonycop, a poor person has never created a job. And yet you comment, "well how many wealthy lay off and make their employees do more work with less people so they can profit more". What is wrong with that? They employ people and then redundancy sets in and they may cut duplicate jobs or because people in a particular position are capable of doing more with experience and knowledge the work is loaded on them. I have experienced this. As I gained experience and knowledge, I was capable of doing more work, more effeciently, so when an employee quit, my boss just split her projects between me and a colleague. Whala more evil profits. Actually I got a decent raise, don't know about the other guy, but he may have too. When we picked up more business, they hired someone new.

I see your point and alot of it i agree but the fact still remains if you put enough people out of work then they have to fall back on money from states unemployment and food stamps to live. When you send millions of jobs overseas there is no work so there is no taxes and so the people draw of the govt and millions and millions of people will put the tax coffers in a strain. If you include tax loopholes no taxes from prisoners, illegals getting paid mostly tax free states with no taxes, unemployed, people living out of country or hiding their money in off shore accounts and many other, what happens after a period of time.

The down-fall of the US was needed to establish a One World government. Got to have a level playing field for the establishment to work or be possible. KNEW this way back when things were great. KNEW that terrible times were ahead.

The US government is controlled by men behind the Federal Reserve. They control the money, they control everything, and they aim to control the world. And they are on the verge of seeing a touch-down.

No agrument from me. I think what we are seeing are merely the tumors of a deeper cancer. Our government has gone from where service was an honor and volunteer to where Weiner can be forced to resign, still have access to the Congress gym, and receive a pension for the rest of his life greater than what the average working person brings in annually. Our Fore Fathers have been rolling in their graves like a BBQ spit. The government screams about jobs going over seas while they are making restrictions which make it impossible to keep producing in the US. They tax those who produce jobs to the point that they cannot keep their doors open. They tax and scream about the 'big boys' needing to pay more while the politicaly connected pay none. Our governmental leaders sell the Americans down the river so that they can get votes from illegals by making loop holes which nullify immigration laws. Our government is splitting our country. Illegals drain our country financial resources and then scream they are not being treated right.
