Dear America: A letter to Obama's Followers

Marti Settle. Marti spoke so succinctly and eloquently that her entire post goes as follows:

Dear American Public,

Why can’t you think for yourselves? Why are you still standing around with your tongues and hands sticking out waiting for “Obama” money?

There is no more. It is gone. So would you please do something—anything– to take care of yourselves?

For example, go to the emergency room less. That “medical crisis” will probably go away in two to three days if you take an aspirin or a Tylenol, take a laxative and wait it out.

Eat less. Stop eating fried food and cheesy junk food. Eat a salad instead of a Double Whopper. Go without eating for a day. Drink water instead of soda.

Pray for your nation instead of cursing your misfortune. Thank God for your blessings.

Concentrate on what you do have and do not focus on your victimhood. Do not allow people to drag you down. Hold your head up high. Smile.

Do not have sex outside of marriage. Use condoms. Do not get pregnant unless you are able to support your own children. Do not have children expecting to get welfare checks.

Make sure that your children understand every last word of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Make sure that you do, too.

Make sure that you understand what Martin Luther King meant in his immortal speech “I have a dream.”

Before you vote for someone because of the color of their skin, remember Obama himself was telling you to look beneath the skin to the character of that person—so stop looking at skin color. Become a part of a “colorless society” and watch the world bloom because we start to live together because of who we are not what we are.

Obey the Ten Commandments.

Work Hard. If one job will not pay your bills, either reduce your costs or get another job, and another until you are self sufficient.

Feel Pride. Learn Shame. Do not shame others. Do not take anything from others.

Learn from great new leaders like Frantz Emmanual Kebreau and David Barton.

Listen to Lt. Col. Allen West. Listen to Herman Cain. These men should be your heroes.

Sarah Palin is a great woman. Listen to her. The media is scared of her because she is true to the Constitution and to America. Michelle Bachmann is a courageous and strong woman. Vote for her, hold her up as a beacon of strong womanhood. These are women you should look up to.

Be strong and be careful who you listen to.

Thank you, Marti Settle; your words should be shouted from mountaintops.

The advice is fine, but the title is wrong. In fact, it's very prejudicial. Our problems in this country go far beyond party lines; some people just don't want to admit that and want to blame Obama strictly for political reasons.

Yes, we all need to wake up because at this point, it's not going to matter who is in the White House, we are all getting screwed. If you think just getting a new president in the Oval Office is going to in any way solve our problems, you are sadly mistaken. Our problems started long before Obama was elected. IMO of course.

Yes they did and I agree with you completely, except on one fact. Who we elect into office is who we have given control over our country for the next 4 years. Laws that get passed or vetoed, taxes that only the "lesser thans" seem to pay and most importantly, the laws of power that this administration has put into action, such as “comprehensive immigration reform”, among many, many others.

If you'd like to read more on how the Washington Times (BTW, they helped put him into office) is now thinking about that decision, here is the link: T

HE WASHINGTON TIMES - 1ST PUBLIC NEWSPAPER TO CALL FOR IMPEACHMENT

FINALLY -- SOMEONE IN THE MEDIA HAS STATED THE OBVIOUS. Perhaps other writers will grow SPINES. A strong article and hopefully not the last public newspaper to do so. ( It's always healthy to have good debate)

Hi Kim...

You are correct.

In fact, if you have been reading some of the posts in here, you will know that it actually is closer to the truth than you give yourself credit for.

Many renowned writers, after much research, have proven over and over. that this is and has been the case for years.

Thank GOD though, many of us are finally waking up.

Unfortunately, most who read these articles refuse to believe what has been placed in front of their own eyes.

And instead of waking up and taking a responsible stance in the matter they would rather argue and try to disprove

the situation, at best they call the "race " card.

For those who have drank the Koolaid and are sleeping, there is still hope and I pray that it will happen fast.

Thanks for a great post..to Gwenna..

Best Regards...
