Bank Story as encouragement only

Even though I am not a pumper I must do what they all do in their post and state "I am not a pumper!" Now I got that out of the way. Here is my bank story.

I went to my bank (Chase) in Arizona to do my first wire transfer to fund my Warka account. I was able to apply just before they stopped taking online applications and just recently got confirmation that my account was successfully opened.

I sat with a banker and told her that this was my first time doing a wire transfer. I gave her the e-mailed instructions from Warka with all the routing numbers but didn't tell her what it was for. She was a bit confused by the instructions and called over a business banker to help. At that time I explained to them that it was to fund an Iraqi account but will the transfer will be sent to a domestic bank that will fund the account.

Once I said that, the business banker asked me if it was concerning the dinar. I sheeplishly and being a bit embarrassed had to say yes. I do believe in this investment but I was waiting for the "you know it is a scam" remark. To my surprise he didn't say that. Since he said the word "dinar" a assumed he knew about the opportunity so I asked him what he knew.

He told me that he heard that it was something that was to good to be in right now. I was kind of stunned that he said that. I pressed him a bit more about what he knows. (I know that he doesn't know any inside information but I wanted to hear anything that he may have heard within his banking circles). He told me that while he isn't a "guru", (that word to me implied that he is familiar with them and the internet forums) that come Aug 2, things will get very interesting. I asked if he was referring to the debt ceiling talks and he said yes. He then stated that good or bad, something is going to happen. I left the bank after that. I wanted to stay and chat it up some more but had I didn't have time.

I'm sorry if this sounds like a typical bank story. I know that it does but note that I didn't promise a date or rate. This is just something that made me smile. A confirmation from a complete stranger. I now have my own bank story that did encouraged me. Even though it truly doesn't mean anything.

In case you were wondering. I did ask him if he was invested. He said that he wasn't. I asked why. He said that because he works for a bank, he is limited with what he can do. I believe he said internationally.

This didn't make sense to me. Either there are rules that do govern what bank employees can and can't do even as an individual or he just doesn't believe in the investment as much as we do regardless of what he may know. Maybe he just can't confirm that he is invested because others might see that as an endorsement from the bank since he is employed by one. Maybe that's why he chose the words "heard that it was good to be in right now." A non-confirming confirmation. Maybe I'm reading too much into this one. Any thoughts?

I believe your story is sincere thanks for the post. I actually believe he might have not told ou the truth about owning dinar because of maybe legalitiies or the fact it was just personal and he didnt want to lead you onto him having dinar and possibly having you call him and return asking about the dinar constantly. Now i am not saying you are a person of that stature im simply referring to as a personal banker im sure he has got his share with people asking about the dinar.

I know several bank employees with dinars... Maybe he hadn't inquired if its legal.

BTW: I stopped by Chase a few weeks ago and casually strolled to the counter and presented my dinars to the teller to cash-in. (This was just to get a response) She looked at the currency and grabbed a currency book to validate the type. At his point I knew she was not familiar with the dinar.

She found the dinar and then was searching for the rate; eventually a manager came up and looked at her screen. I didn't see her make a call or flag him in any way. He spoke with her for a few seconds and then looked at me with a smile and said "It's not complete yet".

That told me it's in the works and coming. I was just looking for some acknowledgement!

I've purchased all that I'm purchasing... just waiting like everyone else!
