mojack
It’s believed that Iraq's RV is a part of Debt Ceiling negotiations. Republicans stand firm on NOT removing GW's tax breaks for the wealthy and people that make over $250,000 annually, but would they compromise on a new special tax for instant millionaires that cash in on the Iraqi Dinar? The government has very close estimates on dinars circulating within the states. Every time you purchase – it’s registered with the government, we’re no longer unknown. The delays could be a part of our government’s strategy to identify, categorize and capitalize on our investment. Of course they argue on everything, therefore it takes longer! How much is too much!!!!! - Mojack 3
JTMagones
If that does happen it is going to be a bunch of bullcrap, we are already going to have pay a capital gains tax, and the US Government is going to make so much money on the RV any way. Why should they make a special tax for the people that were desiceve enough with there money to make such an investment and then they are going to punish us for that.. FRUSTRATED
The wonderful government is holding a couple trillion dinar so why do they have to continue to drain us?Maybe we could get lucky and get the flat 15% .

The dealers specifically state they do not share your personal information with anyone and I don't know about you but I never provided anyone with a SS number to buy any dinar. I'd say if anything the only thing reported is the amounts sold if that. They will get you at cash in time when you will have to fill out a form to be able to cash in. Then at that time they will have your information. BTW, since I was able to order online they don't even know who I am. I use a different name and paid with money orders. The only thing they have is an address where they mailed it to. Edited July 21, 2011 by PartyTime

mojack
This thing has been ready to go for at least 48 hours now... a 24 hour alert was suppose to have been issued by U.S. to forex and banks a couple of days ago. It IS being held up again. No, I can't provide written proof or pictures, sometimes you just know people! Only thing that can hold it up is our Congress and the Whitehouse. This implies- something is yet to be settled regarding the RV because after we cash-in may be too late! - Mojack 2
Benelli
I believe it is unlawful to pass a windfall tax and penalize one group of people. Unless I am missing something, we are the only people in the country currently expecting a "windfall". Could be wrong.

Unless we charter a private aircraft out of the country, how do you propose we get it through customs and passed the TSA agents with the gropping pat-downs and porno scanners? I don't think so. The government has no way to track who has purchased dinar or how much they purchased. Point is they know the amount in circulation. I purchased through the bank and DinarTrade. At the banks, of course, we sign a receipt document. Can't confirm if receipt is necessary at cash in, maybe only ID. Does anyone know?

betsy1949
When I went to the bank last week to pick up my latest purchase, I asked the teller if she could tell me what my total was up to. I don't have much money, so I have been buying a couple hundred dollars worth at a time, as I can save up. She said that she was sorry, but they did not keep any records of how much a person buys or has. Once it is picked up, their part of it is done. I think this is sheer rumor, with no fact. mojack
Stop the insanity. You're wrong on ALL accounts. The RV is not part of the debt ceiling negotiations. It is not believed. It has only been (incorrectly) rumored by a couple of disingenous poster that claim to have talked to their Members of Congress. But it is absolutely ludricous. See how insidious those rumors can be? A couple people start the rumor and pretty soon, people accept it as fact. It's dead wrong. The debt negotiations didn't even start until about 6 weeks ago. And the gov't has no idea who owns dinar. Just as they have no idea who may have $10,000 in cash tucked in their mattress. Many people have been given dinar as gifts. Many people have given their dinar away. There is no absolutely no record of who bought or currently owns dinar. Consideration of the debt ceiling was in play long before 6 weeks ago. But this thing is dynamic and takes a different shape constantly, even with Iraq. Debt negotiations were inevitable no matter what; President wants revenue. Maybe unusual but isn't this whole thing? And btw: don't assume where this may have been heard or spoke of. Other points you've posted; no comment necessary! Again, the point is how much is in circulation... not necessarily how much you may have individually.
