sandyf
Its been acting this way since Sunday evening If you look at the advanced chart there is no indication of any spikes but the scale is out of proportion which would suggest they should be there but too fast to be recorded. All a bit strange.

OregonMan
Last night, I captured the spike. I am not a finance guy, but do work in a larger IT department and find this very interesting from a technical perspective. Some say this is a system glitch but I doubt it,. If this was caused by a patch, code change or upgrade commodity systems inc would have already resolved this issue. Commodity systems provides the interface to Yahoo finance. The issue is has to be related to user intervention, possibly data related as opposed to a true system glitch. Just for fun, I sent an email to Commodity systems data integrity team to see if they could shed a light on this. I will post their response if I get one.

blueskygal
yes it is very strange bc it never records in the day high low section this "change" but it does support the removal of the 3 zeros as thats exactly what is gone! US has to get this budget fixed by Friday no RV until that happens - cannot print more Frns w/o increase in nat'l debt - they cannot print/borrow w/o!!! this rv will put 80T of liquidity (depends on rate) into our banking system. 2m dinar holders avg 1m dinar - 2t dinar at $3 is $6T - with fractional reserve banking - liquidity of 60T - they have to get this budget done and the debt ceiling raised in order for this to happen.

snakes251
Hmmm, if this is a real and not a glitch, why are we just seeing it with the GBP and not USD? Maybe the British stock market is trying it out with a new exchange rate? I'm gonna contact the British guy who sold me dinar a while back and find out...I'm very curious now. ha ha
Thanks Oregonman & Blueskygal for your individual expressions. l first noticed it yesterday in uk forex exh. It gave credence to the idea that the CBI will tally IQD with British pound. imo. The US seems to be holding RV up as the both political parties fight over ideology.
