FXStockpiling
The app on my phone "Currency Converter" has been showing all weekend the KWD to hold the same value as the EUR against the USD. Haven't seen it do this before, but just figured it was a hack or glitch in the system...
Luigi1
This is due to the weaker Dollar. All major world currencies, not just the KD are strengthening against the Dollar. This trend will continue until the Dollar finally collapses. After LOP & RV, there may still be more to be made off of the ID as the Dollar weakens against it. Cashing in right away after RV may mean settling for less over the long run. 3
zapped777
Awesome find! Its all relevant! Sorry but it isn't. I wish it were so. All currencies are backed against the dollar and our dollar fluctuates every day. This is normal. Go back and look at a monthly chart of the Kwd and you will see. GPCarter
As I stated you should look at the change relative to various currencies and not just the change in reference to the USD. The USD reached a big low so all currencies pegged to the USD gained value. NOT JUST THE KWD. I hate it when people not involved with forex trading get others hopes up like this without doing adequate research. I have been doing this nearly 10 years. Also, though the KWD rose against USD there were at least three currencies where the value of KWD dropped. In a currency pair, when one currency falls or rises the currency pegged to it does the opposite. That is why the KWD did not rise in value in several non-USD pairings. Now, if KWD rose in ALL pairings it would mean something but that is NOT the case. This is simply a case of the USD fluctuating due to all the negative financial news. wpsmit
The blanket statement that this has no connection to the IQD cannot be assumed. The KWD must be at least 1 cent higher than the IQD due to their country's laws. RV,RV,RV!
