Maybe Iran, Iraq, and other ME countrys plan to RV on Thursday, and this is regarded as a "punch" at the West.....

It seems implausible that the Iranians could be thinking about a military "punch" of any kind unless they are contemplating national suicide. Some feel they will test a nuclear weapon and present a fait accomplis for the world. If they do so, they better have more than 1 in the wings and a practical way of delivering it because there will almost certainly be implications for them. Short of a military surprise, some sort of economic coup would seem more likely. They might refuse to accept American dollars in oil trading and have acquired support from some other gulf region states for a different trading currency standard. It would be interesting if they did cause a revaluation of major proportions. Should such be the case, my feeling is the wise would want to cash in as early as possible while the value remains high as there would certainly be a contermeasure to Iran's agenda and a subsequent drop.

Everything I have read does not say a punch to the west, it said "a punch that would stun the world". I am guessing they are going to test a nuke.
