Maybe they mean fully implemented (completed collecting all the old currency) by the middle of next year? Hard to know exactly their meaning with the interpretation breakdowns.....

In order to have the Kurdish language on their currency they must redesign and reprint their money. So there is some degree of truth to this.

seems like its either a smoke screen or they mean it will be fully completed by next summer meaning they will have all the currency back in that havent got the kurdish writting on, in other words the currency we hold now will be obsolete, that wold give them 1 year to complete the change over, i my be wrong but i wouldnt worry to much

hhmmmmm...let's see, if I wanted to ensure that there was no more speculation, no more people "investing" into the dinar prior to RV, what would I do...I'd probably toss out some absurd date that would put off most people, get them to wait until next year, and them, "BAM!" hit them unexpectedly with an RV a few days later... just a though...I wouldn't put it past them. I'm banking on my Birthday...why? Why not?

Everyone will be affected the same whether you have hard currency or electronic....

From the article it seems as if maybe they already have this figured out and that they will start the RD process next year with a passing vote from the house....

Does give them time to print new notes as well....
