I called the number for the Virginia office and was given a number for "Talaris" which now is the DeLa Rue replacement. I ask if they could tell me which banks carried these machines in Florida and Virginia and she could not give me a particular name, but did say that most big and small banks have them, even Credit Unions. I hope this helps.

Iv seen alot of talk about the de la rue counter,and i thought this would help out.the del la rue is a machine that counts all type of currency .

I really dont know why people get bso hyped up about these machines ...... it's not something new !!! every bank in the UK & Ireland have always had these machines .... maybe the US is a little behind as I dont think banks over there handle the quantity of foregin currency as banks do here. but it's only a counting and note verification machine .... like i said nothing special ....

Here's why ... it's not an American machine!!!!!!! ... most banks here have no idea what you are talking about and DONT have one ... they all have counting machines ... most have USD authenticating machines which is vastly more complex. Simply put, DeLaRue is a UK name brand ... and then after the scandal ... what was it ... 2010? ... 2009? ... customers are flocking elsewhere.

This is a year old article that I wrote but has some valuable insight to the De La Rue Brandt 8625 (can't remember off the top of my head but it may be the 8625A)

Additionally, these machines are old and I believe DLR sold their machine authenticating business to Telaris (sp)

I still encourage you to do your due diligence and authenticate your IQD yourself ... it's an investment folks ... not a pony ride ... and it only takes a second or two per note.

cheers for that doc .... yeah i've checked all my own, i bought a uv checker on ebay and i've had them checked by a bank,my mother is a bank manager in Ireland.
