Good Morning Folks. Hope you are all well. First let me predict that below this post will be the usual people saying I am stupid, why did I invest, Go away if you cant be positive and so on. Usually these are people that have just arrived. I have been invested for years with an above average amount of dinar. Yes I can afford because i owned 2 businesses that were sold in 2007 so no financial worries but like many of you i dream of the many things I could do with a windfall. We all dream, right??? For those of you who are democrats, a business is a way to create jobs and make a living that the government doesnt have to provide.

I have been banned by the best of them for simply voicing an opinion that is not positive in nature and denigrates dinar sales. During my 21 years in business, I managed to build a great engineering firm in Florida and employed over 100 people as well as a manufacturing plant in South China. I have see first hand how currency changes, although small , do to imports and exports. It may seem like $10,000 per container is small but it does effect competitivness.

I began out of forum research and let me tell you it is difficult because as you all know, type in dinar in Google and all the BS surfaces. I decided to go back and build on my contacts from my businesses. I spoke to a currency research VP for BofA first. A long time family friend. His only job is currency research for their customers. Secondly I spoke to 2 of my son in laws middle eastern professors, one of which was contracted to CBI for auditing and bringing them into compliance with global banking, Then my congressman, 3 times, as well as a middle eastern specialist (on radio and TV as well as a government advisor regarding middle east policies. He was the most difficult to get a reply from but finally we exchanged 2 mails. This research took the better part of a year and there was a time that i posted these but all that got me was angry responses. The common OPINION was that it will never happen. It would create hyper inflation soon after RV which would plunge the currecny into a worthless position again.

My thoughts after my research was that all these people who post as, I guess you all call them gurus (dont like that title) were so full of BS applying their mental midgetry to a complex isuue that their posts soon began to show just what idiots they are and what their motives are. Just take a look at Ali. He is gone. Why?? Because he is being investigated by the treasury for insinuating and having a network that promotes the investment in the dinar. A MAJOR INFRACTION!!!! Do you all think that your representitives dont get inquiries pressuring these spineless politicians to move toward investigations.

Bottom line, I believe that eventually in will RD so as to be easier to use. That is REALLY the only thing Shabbibi has indicated and maybe, just maybe if they can quell violence, improve their GDP the currency will increase in valuse and you will make up to 300%. Who kniows but one thing i am conviced of after being in this BS pen for a few years is that IT WILL NEVER RV. :>((. Oh well, that is all i will say and its now time for all the pin heads to say how stupid I am. Go ahead say it. When you write worthless insults, its like having an Obama sticker on your car. It speaks volumes about ones intelligence

Unfortunately I think you are speaking truth. I wish you were wrong, especially when I look at the condition of our country, but I'm afraid you are right on the money. I am planning to hold onto my dinar in an effort to double or triple it. Truthfully, there's still a small spark of hope that ignites occassionally that it just might make me rich. But, deep in my heart, I don't believe in the idea that I will wake up one morning rich. Not trying to rain on anyone's picnic, just sharing my truth.

So why with all that research did you get into this? Im just wondering, not bashing.

I mean I got into it to make a ton of money, just a hope I know, and without alot of facts, but I had the money so I did it.

i got into this investment with the thought i could make alot of money but as time has gone by i am more of a realist now and would be very happy if i made double or triple what i put in.......so many people on this forrum are dreamers and dont like to hear the truth,iraq is a very unstable country run by very crrupt people who i still believe are influenced by iran in some way.......bottom line i knew this was a huge risk and i spent what i can afford to lose so im hanging around to see the outcome then im out of here...all the best people and lets hope for the best....steveo

Unfortunately, at this point I have to agree with 220 Mike. It's a rational point of view. Three years ago, after being told by friends that the RV was "imminent," and that there was little time left to invest, (haha) I felt like I had little to lose by giving it a shot. After researching it quickly (due to the time factor) I figured there might be a 30% chance of seeing a revaluation to the equivalent of one U.S. Dollar, or something close. But now, more than three years (and a great deal of research) later this seems highly improbable. With the CBI and IMF confirming somewhere between 26-28 TRILLION Dinars currently in circulation, this would translate to 26-28 Trillion DOLLARS. No matter how optimistic I try to be, I can't get my head around a belief that a poverty stricken, Iron Age country with a total annual budget of $89 Billion Dollars and a $17 Billion Dollar deficit is suddenly going to have many TRILLIONS of Dollars with the stroke of a pen.

It's clear that Iraq intends to make a change in their currency. Personally, I think the only "logical" option is to re-denominate, concurrent with the issuance of a new currency with a value roughly equivalent to the U.S. Dollar, (possibly higher) and eventually eliminating the three zero notes from circulation as they're replaced with the new notes. As much as I've searched, I've seen nothing in any statement from Shabibi, Saleh, or any news article which eludes to anything else. Many have tried to "interpret" the information differently, but there certainly isn't any factual evidence to indicate an intent to RV and THEN re-denominate. It just doesn't appear to make any sense to do that. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

Finally, after several years of watching the gurus, pumpers/liars etc, relentlessly spewing their nonsense, ALL of it repeatedly proven wrong, anyone with a functioning brain HAS to realize by now that every single one of them is totally f.o.s. Tomorrow is June 30th, the "latest" in the never-ending stream of "has to RV by" dates. Meanwhile, after more 14 months of insanity and corruption following an already-delayed election, Iraq STILL hasn't completed a government, STILL hasn't implemented the Erbil Agreement, STILL hasn't passed the HCL law, and is obviously in unproductive turmoil. It's difficult to believe that our RV is high on their list of priorities, but time will tell. Sonny's July 5th deadline is the NEXT drop dead date, but honestly, I'm not holding my breath. So, we wait.

Let's all take a breath and look around. I was booted off j 4 dinar (j=just) after an administrator ranted at me for saying that someone is making money off of this - inorder for it to be hyped soo much without evidence to support the hype. Now j 4 dinar is saying that they are offline for 'maintenance' - posted 3 days ago - and still up? So who is it that is still hyping this?

Fortunately I only invested a small amount 'in case'. I will wait and see and do hope the hypsters are right, but mostly I feel sad that so many people may be have or will be investing too much and will be very disappointed.

I've made countless ventures in many different venues,some I have done fantastic ,some small gains,some broke even,and some loss my shorts.My advise is due your homework,don't get pressured,invest what you can afford and live with the results .Otherwise investments imo is not for u...........................................................GO RV 2011 BABY!!!!!

I have to agree, the only reason I originally invested was because of hyped up imminent RV....I doubt it will ever happen, at this point I will feel lucky to get my money back out of it...but just on the off chance I am wrong, I'll wait another 6 months, then I am done, better to move on to other proven methods of making money.

When I read these types of posts, I think about the point trying to be made and take from it what I need. So many on this site are burned out- I know I will never let this do that to me.

My two cents on this post is that someone took the opportunity to take a cheap shot at our President. The rest is your opinion- not mine

Some still have doubled, and/or tripled investments, especially over the long term...in Warka, ISX and even the cash holdings....so what's all the B.S. about...if you look at this like any other investment...nothing materializes overnight...IMO..this all sounds like dumpers tactics here to me...hang onto your dinars folks, this thing has'nt materialized yet, for better or worse...but, there are spreads/profits going both ways folks, whether you buy dinars or sell them, just dont forget this...some of these guru's are as tactful in getting you to dump your dinars, as they were getting you to buy into them by the pumping by these same pumpers...Bottom Line: Could the pumpers also be the dumpers as we near the end of this ride?...something to definitely think about it is'nt it?...Why would'nt they do this?....THERE ARE PROFITS!!!

On another note: Why do folks spend the time and energy to worry about and write stuff for hours, on a venture that has'nt even materialized yet, but some of these same folks, or at least plenty of folks that they know, have lost fortunes in the stock markets, banks, 401-k's, etc., etc., etc...and never say much about it....THIS IS SIMPLY RETARDATION!!!
