I can't remember who posted on here, the other day, about our government checking purchase orders on dinar and checking them against money laundering, but it is in fact true. A couple of local police officers and one of my brothers friends, an FBI agent, were having a conversation about a local drug seizure in North Eastern Arkansas. Apparently, the dealer had a lot of foreign currency, and among it was a large amount of Iraqi dinar. I sat and talked with them for a minute, and we talked about some of the stuff they had found. I asked about what they, and particularly addressed this to the the FBI agent, was the "skinny" on the whole dinar aspect in regards to everything else that was found, I had a small amount of it myself. He stated currency, even having little to no value at the present time is relevant. He stated many criminals were able to amass great sums of this currency without leaving much of a paper trail. Many had been making large purchases through auction sites. He stated that rest assured, that when it becomes a tradeable currency on the open market, we all will be checked out when it becomes time to cash it in. Hmmmmm... ;)

They have NO CLUE as to who's buying it, who owns it. But they can track who cashes it in, because of taxes that need to be paid. I can promise you, i did not purchase all mine from a bank, or online dealer. Alot of it was bought from people i know who sunk every dime they had into it off of" pumpers" false info because they were broke and need groceries.

I'm not sure what to believe about the inner workings of our government but I know I'm insurance broke and an honest poor citizen of the USA. They can check every closet in my house if they just show me the money!

I'm with you on that, pay a few big bills, get my shoulder and back fixed and hopefully enough left over to start visiting my kids regularly again. Even if it doesn't come in high enough to get everything done, every little bit would help... even after taxes.

That is actually a very promising post with positive feedback. Any chance you can meet with them again?

I see several of the police officers at the coffee shop quite frequently. I went to school with quite a few of them. I see my brothers friend every once in a while. I have a few other friends and family in law enforcement. What do you want me to ask?

Nothing much, just the rate and date...and maybe wear a wire? Haha...all joking aside, your chat with them is very promising that this is real. Thx for post!

:D If you think of any questions you would like me to ask, just post to my profile... I don't know if they would have very much more info, but maybe you can think of something I didn't think about.

I think us average Joes don't have anything to worry about. Matter of fact I am sure we will be checked off the list and not even know it. Would be wild to get a vist from the men in black though. :o

Yeah, I hear ya. I'm not to worried about that. I know some folks that might be getting a visit though for the amount they hold.... LOL, they are legitimate too, so no worries..
