well I think Adam dance around my question with no real answer to what he tought of the meetings and what came out of them. Sorry if this hurts anyone feelings but its just they way I see it.

As I recall, Scooter stated they would NOT ask for an extention and they had just missed the advanced 30 day window, so it could not happen anyway.

If that was his opinion, I understand why he would state that. If that was stated as fact, I disagree - it's not fact, but it's a possibility.

What did you expect him to say, wayne? He wasn't at the meetings. So unless he has contacts who were there (which he doesn't, apparently) all he can do is either speculate or make something up.

through the last couple of years there has been so many rumors about the RV was upon us.........but there will be no recognized currency until they are released from chap 7.........my question has always been why they haven't cleared this issue asap if they were serious about the RV this could have already been done easily.........

I thought in a post Scooter made a few days ago he said something about they were past the deadline to extend the DFI fund expiration. Just trying ot get clarification on whether the DFI fund can or cannot be extended.

This was one of the points that I disagreed with Adam on, if he is in fact saying the UN DFI will be extended. The DFI is set to expire on June 30th, and the amount of lead time required to request a extension has passed. Now, the EO was extended for a year which will protect the funds after the expiry of the DFI. Obama stated in his letter to the House and Senate that he would review Iraq's progress leading up to the June 30th date to see if the EO needed to extend past that date.

So, in effect the funds will be protected after the DFI expires by the US through the EO. That's big time leverage for us.

No one knows what is going to happen. Don't jump the gun too soon. Chances are you paid enough for your 25K notes, it is not like they will exchange them for free. You will end up paying even more yet and still have the same value.

Don't worry about your 25K notes. That's all I have, and I'm not about to go run out and buy lower denoms at 5-9 times the price. If there is an opportunity to trade some of the larger denoms post-RV, it'd probably be a smart move. What it really comes down to is whether or not there is a cash in time limit (bounty) on the larger denoms. If not, then it's all good. Don't get wrapped around the axle about it.

Who thinks that when they rv low( if they do rv low) like Adam said may happen to pull the notes in. Do yall think they will freeze that rate at let's say .86 persay so it won't move up???
