I figured a long way around my problem! Uploaded to my DV Album and copied it from there. I may not be a genius but I can get there eventually

At the bottom left of the post is an option to 'Attach file".  Use that, if you do not see it, choose "More Reply Options" or "Use Full Editor" on the bottom right, and bottom respectively.
