"the tenth of this month" - so they're talking about May? From the 10th of May "all ministries and departments not associated with the Ministry" are " not to have any financial transactions or relations with the banking companies"....but they can do business with certain "officially sanctioned" banks? hmmm... am I reading this wrong? Bueller? Bueller?

Checked CBI website can find no such list. <_<

It is there. Don't use the english version.. Use the arabic and then click on the news and announcements. The list is there but it is a PDF that the google translate won't work with.

My best guess is that this article is referring to ceasing all monetary transactions with any bank or financial institution that is NOT sanctioned by the CBI. Hmmm.... tightening of the purse strings perhaps. Sounds like CBI and GOI are attempting to "regulate" banking and monetary transactions. Could be good news. JMO

Afterthought, what is this in Rumors section, when it is in fact a news release??
