May 1st is a national holiday. Labour Day is an important event of the contribution to society of all working people.The celebrations of May 1st are in many people’s mind connected with the huge celebrations during the communist regime.

Labour Day celebrated on May 1st of every year.

Labour Day is honoring organized by labours. It’s celebrated to the workers of economic and social achievements.

Today almost people known as International Workers’ Day or May Day.

The celebration of Labour Day has its origins in the eight hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest.

With the low auctions this week and the CBI will be closed Friday, Saturday, and now Sunday........makes you wonder....and the fact that the UN exchange rates to take effect April 28 - May the 1st.......I just find this interesting.........GO DINAR

Looks like we have to wait until Monday morning to see the next auction updates.

Eyes will now be more focused on Forex & the UN site. -- But, if they say CBI first, than we may have to wait until Monday..

They celebrate labor day in Iraq? Man that seems odd for them to close for that day unlesssss!!!!!!

I thought the same thing, so I checked the Iraq Holiday calander for the previous 5 years and they have celebrated it every year. I do however find it ironic that a government that seems to never work is celebrating Labor Day and most of the people in the country that should be celebrating it are unemplyed.
