moose 57
Has anyone stopped to think that all the so called "Gurus" (you all know who I am talking about) Thrive on all our comments (good or bad). They are in the "lime lite" pretty much every day. We all feed into their ego. If we stopped, would they?

Thanks moose Indeed, it has always been part of their routine to feel important and feed others what they want to hear. In turn, it creates sales and brings traffic to their sites where the ad banners finish off their work. Nothing wrong with making a buck, something very wrong doing it via deception and grandstanding. All we can hope is that this is coming to a great close for everyone. My theory is these same folks will then go on to other sites, and assist with their next target...the VND and its sales. It's ok if one wants to speculate in some VND, no problem with that, just remember what to expect along the way. Thanks moose All my best! ZigsQuote
Has anyone stopped to think that all the so called "Gurus" (you all know who I am talking about) Thrive on all our comments (good or bad). They are in the "lime lite" pretty much every day. We all feed into their ego. If we stopped, would they? Hey folks, we're all guilty. I was thinking the other day of some synonyms for "INTEL" Here's a list of what I came up with. Some apply to the "Gurus," some apply to all of us. Wishful Thinking Amateur Expertise False Assumptions Blind Faith Misplaced Trust Denial (of real facts) Naivete' Positive Attitude Stubborn Resolve Eternal Optimism Inflated Ego Over Stated Confidence And my favorite -- Irrational Exuberance (ala Alan Greenspan, about the DotCom bubble) Sure this trip gets discouraging, even maddening sometimes, but it's also exciting and fun and the reward at the end of the ride will so offset all the frustration, that everyone of us will wish there was some way we could all meet each other for a great time of rejoicing and thanksgiving together and apologize for all the ill feelings and unkind remarks. And I do believe that's what's called a "run-on" sentence. :-)
On_Reserve
There is no such thing as a Guru, Expert or anyone in-the-know ... That's all in your head, Moose. Take it out. TS I believe in the RV; I don't believe in the cult.
