Miny
I have been following the dinar investment and all of the rumors for a few months but I have never posted before EVER. One of the most recent rumors that caught my attention was the one that some of the "guru's" said about the CBI working on a new website that will be introduced with the RV. Some have even claimed to have seen it. I always take the rumors as rumors so that I do not get my hopes up and crushed but something happened yesterday that made me dig deeper. I was reading rumors over at Planet Dinar and read one that basicly said that they found the new website and gave the address. I opened it and saved it to my favorites to look at but I had to minimize it to answer an incoming work call. Five minutes later, the rumor had been removed and I was glad I saved it in my favorites. As I suspected, it just had a home page and the links on the page didn't go anywhere. My husband being the skeptic said that the "pumpers" probably created it to add valitity to their claims to have "seen" the new site and prove that they know what they are talking about. But as I was about to close the page I noticed something. The address given was www.cb-iraq.org but the links on the page were www.cbiraq.org without the dash. I decided to do a "Domain Lookup" on http://whois.domaintools.com for both domains. I am not sure if this means anything or not but this is what I found.... www.cb-iraq.org (Maybe Tech team under construction???) nointel
i'm suprised this wasn't one of the questions for Adam to debunk. this rumor was posted also a few days ago, it may have been floating around longer than that.

PacoTaco
I remember seeing the first link and page floating around last year with the same rumor as being the new site. I don't remember if it was the fall or the summer but I have seen the site before. Also you can go to this page and it shows a snapshot of the webpage starting in 2007. I call BS on this being the new site. IMHO anyways. http://waybackmachine.org/20090901000000*/http://cb-iraq.org Now if you try and lookup this link: http://www.cbi.iq/arabic/index.html it shows nothing for any snapshots...So I would lean toward this site being the new site or layout maybe... http://waybackmachine.org/*/http://www.cbi.iq/arabic/index.html Go RV!!! Miny
If you noticed, I gave 2 different addresses.... www.cb-iraq.org Which I have seen is old, but... www.cbiraq.org IS owned by the Central Bank of Iraq and it was last updated in December 2010. Why would it have updated it if they weren't using it?
realbigfish
A new site is not needed to change a currency value. Think about that one for a second. Why? It's not needed. Would the us treasury change their site for a currency change? Hell to the no.
Miny
I am not saying that a new site is needed for the RV.... I am simply trying to find out if the "guru's" were telling the truth about the new website. If they were, it stands to reason that some of them may actually have at least some type of decent intel. PacoTaco
Time will tell Mimy but I don't think any guru or someone with a contact has seen the new site IMHO, if there is even a new site that will take the place of what is current.
