Iraq-Business News: Trump says US Should Stay in Iraq Taking Oil

Posted: April 5, 2011 byxxxxxxxxx in Iraqi Dinar/Politics

Tags: Bill O'Reilly, Donald Trump, Fox & Friends, Fox News Channel, Iraq, Republican Party (United States), United States, Washington Post 0 Billionaire real estate tycoon and potential Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, has said that the United States should stay in Iraq in order to take Iraq’s oil and cover the cost of the war, reports the Washington Post.

“In the old days when you had wars, you win, right? You win. To the victor belonged the spoils,” Trump said in an interview with Bill O’Reilly on Fox News.

“You stay and protect the oil and you take the oil and you take whatever is necessary for them and you take what’s necessary for us and we pay our self back $1.5 trillion or more. We take care of Britain, we take care of other countries that helped us and we don’t be so stupid.”

“You look at wars over the years… A country goes in, they conquer and they stay… So, in a nutshell, we go in, we take over the second largest oil fields and we stay,” he said.

Donald Trump says he will decide by June whether to run for president.

I'll vote for him before Obama. All the allies that sacrificed should be compensated.

He'll run as a Republican who are for big business though. So say hello to worsening work conditions unless you're a member of the elite. No worse than the Democrats though. Democrats love to come up with scams to confiscate any extra money you might ever save. And give it to whoever they ordain should get it.

Trump is an excellent businessman, I believe we need someone with that background in office. This Government of ours needs to be run more like a business, then maybe we would not be over 14 TRILLION dollars in debt. I don't think anyone would be able to push him around much either. He takes great pride in our country and is not afraid to show it. TRUMP '12

Yep it`s called MANIFEST DESTINY We pulled that card on the native Americans when we took their land by force. But nowadays it would be just to unpolitical correct to do such a thing. DEFINITION of POLITICALY CORRECT = The absurd idea that one can pick up a turd by the clean end.

I also think good old Donald would clean house... "your Fired!... you, ya you, your fired! you? hmmm fired! hey, I appreciate all the work you have done, your fired!.." Well you get the point...

I believe he would clean the house a little... Get the country on track in a business perspective... Create jobs.... Make good investments and so forth.

I also think he may be one of the only few that would have a standing chance running as a republican considering many people recall the Bush era and have a negative opinion on that era.

Donald represents business success, and this economy needs that type of success.

And he obviously would not be doing it so much for the money.. Because he sure has enough of that. -- But his mind would work great on probably fixing some issues.

To a certain point. The problem is the upper management and CEO at the top of the company. Awarding billions in bonuses to themselves, when the money should go to the workers and the shareholders of the company. Their should be laws protecting us from this legalized theft. But all the politicians are payed off so that isn't going to happen. And Donald isn't going to do anything about that either cause he's one of them.

This country needs someone running it that isn't afraid to tell people no and get the job done. If they think times are hard now...just let things go and watch. All these socialistic garbage programs and big government are what has destroyed the U.S. People need to work and pay for things from their own pockets. Yes, it will mean sacrifice. Yes, it will mean having less and affording less for a while, but in the long run, it's worth it.

As mean as it sounds, Trump makes some valid points in his statements.

There are many aspects that Mr. T would be a good fit, but then I watch his Apprentice show and look at his rational for firing someone, I then take back my vote, sometimes.

Agreed. I think there has to be a balance to all things. Hopefully, he's different on the show than in real life.

Oh look! I got a neg for having an even tempered thought and for not jumping all in at the drop of a hat. I feel sorry for that NEG giving person. So you think I should vote for Mr. Trump and anybody else should be fired. Thats just the reason I would think twice and think hard before I vote for him. He kept Joan Rivers for gods sake. She was the worst basket case. He let money and celebrity alter his decision. LOL.

TRANSLATED: Trump actually has a backbone, foreign policy, knows how to run a business WELL AT THAT and he doesn't care what people think of him he is promising to do a job for the American people and get it done fairly. Arrogant? Yes, Know It All? You bet ya and would he make a stand for Americans and turn this country around? Maybe. Either way he has to start somewhere and he is a hell of allot better than the dope we have now. As far as I'm concerned he has my vote in 2012! I do not like to discuss politics with other people but I figure at this point we cannot loose anymore than we already have. Go TRUMP! Oh and by the way GO RV! Peace.

I think the Unions are more of the problem.. they make it impossible for companies to stay here in the U.S due to the unrealistic wage scale that all the union members feel they are Entitled To. Cant afford to pay someone $45 an hour for a job that should pay $20.. JUST because that person has been there for a while... In my experience , most union employess put themselves before the company and THATS a problem.

I've never been emploted by a poor person,, in fact I was working for a big business surveying land and they paid me more than I had ever made with any other company and that with out a highschool education,, they were good about teaching me what I needed to know to succeed in that line of work, it was hard, dirty work, most of the time hiking through swamplands here in southwest FL with equipment on your shoulders, but the harder you worked the more they increased your hourly pay each year. in 6 years I went from making $8.00 per hour to making $18.00 per hour and $1500.00 Christmas bonus's, they provided my truck and gas. Best y I ever worked for before the things went bad and they couldn't afford it any longer. Now my wife and I own an Insurance company and try to treat our employees good. and the bigger we get the better our employees will have it. JMO Big business it's self is not the problem, it's lack of moral responsability.
