KramerDinar
Yeah the higher the number, the more worthless it is, unless there is a decimal point somewhere in there and it was showing .1192, 1.192 or even 11.
Tuck
Trying to get back into Netdania but my Java is continually messing up, however, it's a good site to use. If you delve into the pairing a bit closer, you'll notice regularly changing contributors - software programs; for instance. The software testing issue has been addressed on the forum in the near past.

cardinal sin
I'm not positive, maybe someone can correct me, but, I believe the reason for the fluctuation is because of the value changes in the Dollar, and that the Dinar holds steady at an artificial rate of 1170. When the dollar value changes it shows the difference between the two. Not the other way around. IMO I agree, kk. IQD pegged to USD. If the dollar get stronger the dinar loses value and vise versa. It really doesn't mean much being the dinar isn't a globally recognized currency. WTO on April 7th....we'll see.

bazaardinar
It's an AUCTION, price will fluctuate. instead of 1170 we want to see 0.30 or lower. If we see 1 then one dinar equals one USD. look forward to seeing that.
Doc31
It's the SPREAD ... those of you who don't know what that is need to go look it up ... it will be invaluable to understand it so that you can negotiate your spread when you cash out ... or you can be a Sheeple! go to CBI.iq click on currency auction click on exchange rate put 52 in the pdf page box and hit enter go to the bottom and see the spread, the volume, cash portion, wires now go back up to page 51 for the column headers if you go back further you will see a smaller spread before that ... CBI SAID that it was to give vendors a better % ... it seems it actually just helped the CBI and it's banks get a bigger % I hope this helps Peace Doc31 4
