Good Evening Everyone.

This is probably nothing but I felt it should be noted. As most of you know I spend a lot of time traveling around Iraq doing my job. I am in travel mode as I write this, I was sitting in a DFAC today with some friends, and SH@T POT load of high-ranking Iraq Military officials came in and sat down for lunch.

As always, I never tell you where I am at, or what I am doing. It is probably nothing just sharing Intel with one another, But who knows. Unfortunately, the only person I know that would tell me the truth was suspiciously not in the chow hall at his usual time or location.

Sorry but that’s all I can tell you for now if I learn anything else I’ll let you all know.

I'm thinking this was off the usual radar - something rare in occurrence - not an everyday experience ... geez some people are just plain rude .... if you don't have something nice to say sit on your damn hands. PLEASE!

Thanks madmanak47 for sharing!!

That's damn right. Before someone crams that keyboard in your big mouth.

sounds like a bull #$%@ lunch to me along with post what does that haveto do with anything so what a bunch of clowns met for lunch

He posted this because in the REAL investment world you look for anything different going on. That's usually all the heads up you'll get involving your investment. My guess he was only trying to help. Bet he won't make that mistake again. Jerk Off

Some people here must have such a miserable life....they have nothing constructive to say but bash anything said.

The man is there, says it may be nothing, but is unusual for him to see.

I'm more interested in reading his post than one from someone that has nothing to say at all

except to make obnoxious responses ....

Is it really that hard to sit on your hands as suggested?

Out of all of the sites, you would think that we would have more respect for a military man. Maybe it is nothing, but so what. Did you think that perhaps he is a long way from home and wants to be a part of this, saw something unusual and thought it may be of interest to us.

I am not military, but I have more respect for them than the average citizen. What they have given me cannot be counted or put into words. Not to mention the opportunity with the IQD to change my life, along with YOURS.

Madman, I am sorry this happened but consider the morons that commented negatively. I say we put their *** on a plane to Iraq and let them do something positive to move this investment along. But that would be too hard. And if whoever commented is military or was military, you should be ashamed of yourself.

And yes, you piss me off!

MadMan47, TY for sharing what you know. It is much appreciated.

I have worked with the Iraqis for a long time and them gathering at a DFAC is not that common BUT it does happen. Even though the Americans complain about the food (myself included), it is still a treat for the Iraqis no matter the rank. If you have never eaten in an Iraqi dining facility (Yes I have) you would understand, lol. The Iraqis coming to the dining facility is not a common occurance but it does happen more than some people thing. The only requirment is that if the Iraqis do not have an "unescorted" access badge is that they be escorted by someone that does and is cleared by the installation to escort them.

Wow...seems many are overly hungry for anything to clutch onto....kinda sad but true....

Heads up folks.....

Contrary to popular belief in the dinar forums.......NOT EVERYTHING MEANS RV TOMORROW....

A person can see ghosts EVERYWHERE if they look hard enough...

I am sticking by my original analysis of the post...and that is the fact that some Iraqi Brass had some lunch.....and I don't think it is that "out of the ordinary"....if you ever look at any of the pictures of High Rank people in Iraq, they are all fat as pigs....so I am thinking they eat lunch quiet regularly ;)

With all due respect Slade, the poster did say it may be nothing, but thought it was worth mentioning .

Your post here voiced your opinion and showed respect to the original ,and you and everyone else always has the right to disagree.

But the ones that say nothing but "waste of time" or what a bunch of BS..show no respect to the original poster, nor nothing constructive.

I have eaten in chow halls in Iraq with high ranking Iraqi Military. It is becoming more common. Thanks for the post. I can tell you what they ate, they ate chicken like every other day.

I have to agree with PVS on this one. There are a lot of rude people in here nowadays. I understand you have a "right" to speak your mind and voice your opinion. But common sense plays apart of everything we do. This site is becoming so negative that we drive a lot of people away who may have something good to post, but wont take the chance on you bashers. I think that Riley said it best, if it wasnt you Riley I apologize, type out what you have to say, reread what you typed and then hit delete if it is not constructive. All the negativity is getting old.

WOW! From reading some of these comments from a simple post sounds like desperation is setting in. This is quite simple folks, the Iraqi Dinar is nothing more than an investment, as with all investments you should not be investing money you cannot afford to lose. This investment is not a get rich quick scheme as you all will find out when and if RV happens. Also investing will not produce instant gratification, of course we all want some sort of return for our investment but it is patience that separates the winners from the losers.

Somehow, when you quipped "this may be nothing' we should have had a clue. But, you surprised us. You made this more inane than we thought. Could it be that the guy was in the can. What you should have done is occupy the stall next to his. Now don't play foot tag with him.

thanks for the post........this opens another dimension in the RV story. Why would the Iraqi military officials eat chow in an american mess hall?....... SIMPLE....If they ate in an Iraqi chow hall they would have to pay with dinars, they want to save them for some big event in the near future..... Hmmm.....I wonder what it could be? plus have you even tried to cut a piece off their camel filetblink.gif

I think you have all been reading a little too quickly and missing a point here ...

Unfortunately, the only person I know that would tell me the truth was suspiciously not in the chow hall at his usual time or location.

The poster is obviously telling us what it is that was suspicious to him. I don't know what that means, who this person is, or why it is suspicious that he isn't there at this time. I have not followed this particular poster's postings and so I have not a clue. Maybe someone else here has. But he is clear in what he found suspicious.

I suppose a lot of us need things spelled out, with links, and proof of rumour bits, and pictures when they are not possible to get without possibly being thrown into an Iraqi jail for spying or some such nonsense.

Read the post again ... and use a little imagination and think about it.
