I think the RV will done by the 5th of Feb. at a rate of $1.49. You are right Iraq does not get in a hurry about anything but I think the Prime Minister will get this done for re-election purposes. Thanks for the post.

What about the report that Parliament has basically ended until after the election. Based upon what I read, unless Mal. calls special section 100+ bills will be left unresolved for the next parliament to deal with. I hope this is wrong, but that is the way I understood the post.

I disagree with your time line. Chap 7 needs to be done BEFORE the elections, or Maliki can kiss the office goodbye, and too many other countries want him in that seat. I think we will see the capt 7 lifted as early as this week, as late as next week. Also I think the rate will be more on par with the former IMF record pre-chap 7 of between 2 and 3.

I hope he is right. I bought some in 06 and forgot about it. Now that I have been told about the possible RV I need more time to accumulate a much larger pile of dinar/cash.
