moose 57
A lot of folks can't understand how we came to have an oil shortage here in our country. ~~~ Well, there's a very simple answer. ~~~ Nobody bothered to check the oil. ~~~ We just didn't know we were getting low. ~~~ The reason for that is purely geographical. ~~~ Our OIL is located in: ~~~ ALASKA ~~~ California ~~~ Coastal Florida ~~~ Coastal Louisiana ~~~ North Dakota ~~~ Wyoming ~~~ Colorado ~~~ Kansas ~~~ Oklahoma ~~~ Pennsylvania and Texas ~~~ Our dipsticks are located in DC Any Questions? NO? Didn't think So.

LivingAGr8tLife
This is interesting. I own a rental property in Ohio and I was offered a VERY small payout (less than $50 a month I think) for their oil drilling. It's not on my property, but my property is part of their drilling zone. If there's oil there that's like a spit they're giving the homeowners like myself. Do you think I get rip off ? That's all I know. It is interesting to see oil drilling areas in US, but yet we have shortage issues. Hmmmmmm.......
