Warka E-Banking Application and Transfer Authorization Form

Recommended Posts

I am filling out the first page of the application and not sure what information goes in the space for "Branch name" and the next space "P O box zip code". P O box and zip code for who? I don't use a P O box. Can somebody guide me here? Thanks.

Anybody had any luck opening a Warka account , I have been trying for 3 months to no avail, Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, Gasketman, i think you can try ask about your problem to:

Mohammad K. Issa

Deputy Managing Director

Senior Executive

ifrd@warka-bank-iq.com

or,

Rowaida

c.services@warka-bank-iq.com

In my experience, better ask directly to Mohammad K.Issa.

I already have warka account with their help. :)

But, be patient for their reply, maybe about a week. :)

Warka is closed until the 14th because of the EID Holiday. It took me near two months after repeated emails to open my account and another two months to get online with it. Some people have better success. The ones that seem to get results faster are the ones addressed to Mr. Issa. For some reason, he seems more consciencious about it.

Yes, that's right! Better make communication with Mr. M.Issa. about warka account.

I took 2 months for opening account at warka bank. Just info, their working day is Monday to Thursday (just 4 days a week  ). That's why it seems too long waiting for their respons.

File attached.

I'm new to this and a little behind everyone else, for the Warka account how much is needed to open it? Do you open USD and Dinar accounts at the same time? At this point will i be allowed too? Sorry about these questions if someone has already answered them, there is a ton of info on this site and i haven't had a chance to look at it all.

Thanks in advance

Im wanting to open a Warka account but after reading about all of the problems, Im not sure its a good idea. Any Advice?

Warka can be slow to respond, but if you follow the instructions in this section you should be able to get responses.

Keep in mind that there is no reason Warka MUST respond or even keep your money safe - there is no insurance to speak of and most people only put what they are comfortable losing into a Warka account.

However, it is also the easiest way to get involved in ISX trading, and they do pay better interest than most other institutions! So it's really a personal judgment call.

Are they reliable, can we count on them? I have no idea - it's one institution in Iraq, and it happens to be the only institution that the average foreigner can utilize to invest in "digital" Iraq.

I have quite a bit in there, and they don't seem to answer me any quicker than someone with only a couple hundred in their account... so I am leaning towards "that's just how they operate".

The upside, of course, is that if they do an "in country" RV or the stocks in the ISX skyrocket, this is how you can protect yourself or gain on the Dinar when those that hold only cash may be screwed.

If I were you, I would do this: Figure out what you are comfortable setting on fire. Take THAT EXACT AMOUNT and put it in a Warka account. Collect interest, withdraw funds, invest in the ISX, and have fun with it.

:tiphat:

Still new--still learning and reading. Adam, I have read your book and have read the above and gone to various sites--Warka Bank included. What I would like is to get an update on the recommendation re Warka Bank. Understanding that it is never good to put all eggs in one basket, I am wondering if you are still recommending this move? There seem to be a number of comments from others about difficultities establishing with Warka bank, maintaining, etc. Just wondering if this is still a recommended venture. Thanks for any input.

Also the application that is in Arabic, do I just fill out the few lines that are in English?

I'm sorry, I actually had started trying to get this stuff together back on August 28 an I was confused and gave up. I just pulled these papers again and now I see that I didn't fill out the application at all because I was unsure about how to do it. So from looking at it again. ..... Account number?........name in Arabic?...... Branch name? How am I supposed to know this? Am I missing information?

There is the bank app and the app asking for the three signatures for passport verification, correct? So I need to send a copy of my passport with the 3 signatures letter signed and notorized correct? Are these two the only forms?

Do you think it is wise to open and fund an account with a bank that doesn't answer emails, locks people out of their online accounts, and where people are unable to retrieve their money from the bank?

I hear ya, no risk no reward. I guess from my perspective it depends on what you purpose is. If you want to gain interest on your e-dinar, then Warka offers a high interest rate, though if the bank isn't planning on paying it's creditors, then it's just fake interest.

If you're wanting to enter the ISX, then I'd simply go through a broker some use on DinarVets. It's risky just like anything else, but people on other forums buy stcoks through Warka and they are always complaining that their purchases are usually off.

Good luck with whatever you choose.

Actually was kinda interested in both but it sounds as if neither can be trusted. May I ask? Are you invested in either?

I and a few other members are with Al-Jazeera brokerage. For all I know, they could be another Bernie Madoff, but they've been prompt with my orders and always send me documentation on my account and they are listed on the ISX website. I haven't tried to request money from them, so I can't answer that question. Was thinking about Warka before them, but after all the problems people have had with them, decided to take a chance with a broker.

Okay, I need some help.

http://dinarvets.com...orization-form/

In Adam's first link it's a Warka E-Banking Application for the account. Here's my question, it ask for Account No, Branch Name, and P.O Box-zip, what information needs to go in that field?

You don t need a specialised application, you simply need to ask them to do this. The account is your IQD account number. The Branch is the main branch in Baghdad,

Put your name on it that corresponds with the account name you have the account under. Agree to have the 15000 IQD deducted from your IQD account.

Its really simple.

Print it off , sign it then scan it as a pdf or jpeg file then email it to the e banking dept. Dont stuff about. You absolutely need your online account to run this investment through Warka. Its essential to be able to swap back and forth from IQD to USD when you need to once it starts changing value. My advice - Do it now.
