Doctor Smith
As long as oil is bought and sold in dollars, Iraq will have an endless supply of dollars. With an endless supply of dollars, why would they need to RV their currency? To buy imports. Like computers, cars etc etc etc. A strong currency is good for importing. And they will export their oil using US Dollars.

On_Reserve
Mods, Now that Kenneth has weighed in, you may as well close this thread 'cause it's about to go on a ride ... to crazyland. Thank you. TS I believe in the RV; I don't believe in the cult.
LettheRVbegin
Lonzworth, You probably don't have any dinars or sold all of it. Get real man. Go buy some more and come back here. 1

Seems to me you are on the right track, and you certainly are asking the right questions. NotReallyTex
Thanks Lonzworth, I for one, appreciate your post's and the dose of reality you try to bring to this forum. I can where a Petrodollar could be used instead of currency with some countries. But I wouldn't think it would be as valuable to other countries, not all countries are as desperate for oil as we are. I think the dinar will RV eventually but there have been a few indicators recently that make me believe we have a lot longer to go that we were led to believe. Still not selling my dinar, just not putting my life on hold anymore.
Dinarius Rucker
Lonzworth, I am not really sure how the passages in bold type are supposed to convince us there won't be a RV. You are not shocking anyone, by saying the U.S. went to Iraq for the oil. Now, please explain to me why the U.S. would purposely enter into a partnership to funnel tons of money to Bin Laden. In Iraq
Just the mere hint of injecting a shot of realism into this investment and everyone screams SELL!!!!! When did providing pertinent information become playing the devil's advocate? Everyone here bashes rumors as fantasy. Everyone here bashes verifiable facts as rubbish. I bought into this investment a long time ago. Instead of depending on rumors and hearsay, I opened a few books and delved into to how the world works. John Perkins is a good place to start. Am I a little more skeptical than I once was concerning this investment? Yes. Do I still believe a revaluation can happen? Yes. I'm a rare breed of realist. I always hope for the best but I always expect the worst. I'm not selling. Get over it. You are not the only realist. Some of us others refuse to gulp the kool-aid!! When I see the dinar increase on the world markets then I will be a true believer. Lonzworth, I am not really sure how the passages in bold type are supposed to convince us there won't be a RV. Most of these labled terrorist were U.S. allies at one time. Bin Laden helped out against Russia in Afghanistan. Saddam Hussein against Iran. It has depended on our interests and needs which way we lean at the time.
Lonzworth
Lonzworth, You probably don't have any dinars or sold all of it. Get real man. Go buy some more and come back here. I've got all I need. Let's put it this way... When it RV's, I plan on submitting my letter of resignation under the influence of LSD in arse-less chaps... to make more humorous, I also plan on taking some exlax and viagra for good measure. Believe me, I own plenty & I'll have one hell of a retirement party. I think he is one of Cass Sustein's infiltrators, his name sounds like it. How do you think the Shah rose to power in 1950's Iran. Are you bashing conspiracy theorists or are you actually one yourself? I can't tell, you're incoherently confusing and simulatneously childishly amusing. There's some poetry for you brother.
VanessaL4100
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Lonz. I guess I view it like this imho ofcourse, Sure they don't have to revalue their currency, however, how much longer are they going to pay their citizens worthless crap?! And not have a recognizable country, to say the least!? My husband and I were talking one night and he even said, wow so no one can leave that country, only because their currency is worth nothing to any other country. It's sad what those people have to go through all that. My second thought along with your's is, yes that they don't have to; however, M did state numerous times that they are going to. Right now it's all a matter of waiting and patience--whether it is 3 weeks, 6 months, or 3 years. At least that is what I believe. Don't get me wrong, I am a very impatient person and I pray for the RV sooner rather than later, but we shall see. I have hope that it is coming. Once again, thank you for your opinion. Have a great day! Edited February 19, 2011 by VanessaL4100
