I am new. Call me a noob, newbie whatever your heart desires. I am NOT a so called PUMPER and have been invested for quite a few years now. But why is it if someone comes in here and makes ONE possible optimistic statement they are always a pumper. You people have become so pesimistic its unreal. And excuse me ahead of time if my spelling is NOT what you would consider very grammically correct. I have just recently started coming to these sites because of people if REAL LIFE beginning to talk alot more of the RV. So i decided to check these site out. I have seen the OKIE and friends scenerio and you are correct its every sunday monday type of thing. But HERE you cant even say anything without being cut down or bashed or whatever you people would like to call it. Everytime I come here which I know your going to say then dont. But I will admit curiosity gets the best of me. So you dont have to make that negative statement either.WHY WHY must you outwardly constantly bash or cut down anyone who makes any type of statement. I do understand quite a few of you have had alot invested for quite a while but look at yourselves you have become so paranoid so pesimistic that NOT ONE person outside your little click can say anything. I was looking at the rangerjoe convesation and it is actually quite pititful the way you people just BOOM!!!! no matter whom they may be cut them down. WHY. I am not here to state any dates rates good news or bad. Just the fact that I really wish that you could just step back for just one moment and look at what you have become. Its sad really. With that being said to all the new comers of this site and any others. I am glad that you post what you do. It is up to the person that reads it to be aware of the events that have passed and are forthcoming. So I myself thank you for your post. So if it is not true or maybe half true or maybe the whole truth it still does not constitue being bashed or cut down. Okay they might be a pumper SOOOOO!!!! why must you just take off and cut them to the core. Ya know I AM very religious, another thing you seem to not like or question or cut people down about. all i have to say about that my friends is you reap what you sow. And if they are pumpers and they are being deceitful they will without a doubt be taken care of by the most high power of all. It is not our right nor job to cut them down nor judge them .. So please I say please try and mind what manners you have left. There are good people out there just trying to be optimistic about a very speculative investment. well like i said i have been coming to these sites for a while now. and still i shake my head at so much pesimissim (spelled wrong I know). I for one look at the options the posts and make my own decisions based on this and i would not bother to cut them down. It just doesnt seem one should HAVE to do this

The site that I came from is much worse . If it wasn't a negative comment you got seriously bashed. I think when you're dealing in a forum of any kind you just have all kinds of personalities you're dealing with and face it people tend to not be as nice when dealing in written words as they are face to face. MPG350 is right that these people have heard all the lies a million times over and I have noticed the longer this goes on the more touchy people become. I'm able to stay positive because I figure it'll happen when it happens. I didn't bet the house on it and as much as I would love a new paid off house and my cars all paid off I have to go about my daily life until CBI and the Iraqi government makes the decision to help themselves and their people. I give you a 1+ for the cajones to speak your mind in such a way.

But as you I just stay positive and pray for the best outcome. I did not bet the farm on my investment either, But i do know that when this does happen and i do believe in the depths of my heart it will. I will have some very happy babies, and being able to help my father it is golden years will be the best gift I could ever give him. So again thank you and nice meeting you

thank you and its nice to meet you . I always remain positve. I think thats why the over abundance of negativity just really gets me. YOU HAVE to stay positive in the wake a the battle or the battle can be lost. I choose to remain positive and hope that others do the same. Werent we taught by our elders being positive begats positive. Well i for one believe that lolz.

I don't think it is too negative here.

I think DV is a simply microcosm of human nature. We have all experienced pessimistic behavior from people in real life situations, not just on this forum. It is just human nature that not all people are alike and not all people want to get along with everyone and not all people are open to compromise (e.g. - Iraq!).

Just consider it freedom of speech and don't take it personal. But we also have the freedom to read or not read what others write in response to a post. I personally think that the ability to consider an opposing view is a sign of intelligence. I don't have to agree, but I would like to consider it. I for one will admit that I don't have all the answers, and I like to read what others think because I can't read their minds and they may have an experience or view point that I don't have. It may not change my opinion, but it may give me something to consider, and that is valuable even if I reject their opinion.

Okay, so with that said, I have to admit that some days I'm not in the mood for controversy and I just don't want to hear it... so I just read the #1 post and move on to the next rumor, because I'm looking for entertainment. If I was wanted to listen an argument I would turn on O'Reilly on FNC... and some days I am in the mood for an argument. But I have the freedom to chose when.

One of my best friends is the most negative, pessimistic person I have ever met. And I am probably the most optimistic person she has ever met. We disagree on almost everything! The only thing we agree on is to agree to disagree, and we have a great friendship. She is liberal and I am conservative. I am spiritual and she is an atheist. I am a capitalist and she is a socialist. I have been able to see things much differently through her eyes, and I hope she has in mine. But I could never walk in her shoes. I do try to convert her, but in a laid back way. She tries to convert me in an agressive way, and I joke with her that if insects take over the world she will be their leader. Some days I cannot talk to her, and some days I have to talk to her.

Just my two cent philosophy...

LOL maybetomorrow. I completely see what you mean. But here is the catch. If you see positive news or predictions of a RV on another site, you can come here and these old battlescarred war heros will let you know in no uncertain terms, using their razor-sharp BS detectors, if it is worthy of celebration. THey are the litmus as I see it. So be optimistic, maybe get excited if you want to, but if you want a real life evaluation, come here, and then duck if you are the one who posted! On the "other site" where people from here moved to, there seems to me to be much hero worship, and for what reason, I cannot figure out. So far, "men on the ground" etc. gets everyone all happy and workshipping a certain moderator who has recently copped a big attitude. When these false idol worshippers would be better off just watching forex. What the hell do they think? That the RV will happen and by getting all pumped up unecessarily over flimsy "inside information" they are going to be ahead of anyone? It is just silly. Welcome maybetomorrow!

to have an opinion is a very blessed thing. But to right off the bat no matter what a person says to start bashing them i feel is the wrong way to approach it. I have an opinion and that was my opinion be it right wrong good or bad.

If what the person said was wrong or untruthful so be it. by all means let that person be aware of it.. but it does not call for the so called bashing and just automatically assuming the worst in a person anyway now that there is a negative post on here and will only lead to more, so I shall bid you all a goodday and nice to meet you also mr. or ms. two cents worth *waves*

I just gotta say...my hats off to you for saying what needed to be said. Everybody has an opinion and a right to speak it, however when debating or challenging that opinion, let's do it without making it a personal attack. Just as the person has a right to speak their opinion, we also have the right to disagree, but can we just agree to disagree and keep it clean..

While it seems that developing a thick skin seems a natural consequence from repeated disappointments week after week, month after month and year after year, it is no excuse to develop a hardened heart. We need to allow others their otherness and accept responsibility for our own actions, words, deeds, attitude and responses. I've learned over the years that I've been monitoring my investment who to have confidence in and who to take with a grain of salt. I'm an eternal optimist but have learned the value of Proverbs 4:23 "Above ALL else, GUARD your hearts for it is the wellspring of life." The old idiom "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me" really applies as we read ALL Intel, rumors and opinions whether it comes from a pumper, an attention seeker, a hopeful heart or an acknowledge informed source. Nice Post - you took the words out of my mouth. I have intel from reliable sources that I will no longer share because of the nasty cave dwelling mutants that dwell here. Those who dig hard will get the message first and the peanut gallery will wonder why they were not first in line, difference is in this case, the first message from intel sources could translate into dollar dividends.
