breeze101
I was just sittin here getting the opinions and news from you great people and my phone rang. My wife answers, it's a call from Sam's Club tire and battery dept. Evidently the teenager that used to be our neighbor applied for a job there. ok... They ask 3 questions...Will he steal? of course answer is no....can he do the job? of course. it's tires and batteries! duh.....then the thing that blew my mind! "IS HE A TERRORISTIC THREAT?" ARE YOU FLIPPIN SERIOUS?! A small town, pop. 1100, never been anywhere, hardship liscence holdin kid, and you ask about a terroristic threat in a flippin tire shop. man o man what the hell is it coming to? keeping my eyes on that eastern sky!

Deathmonkey
Gotta love that Patriot Act! He probably checked out a "flagged" book from the library.
TNDinarGirl
I was unable to pick up a handgun I had ordered last fall because there was a "flag" on my name/SSN. I informed them that I have been a Federal employee for 5 years and that I would think they would have informed me of any issues when performing my background check....come to find out, it was because of a bounced check my ex-husband wrote on our joint account back in 2000. Talk about stupid reasons to flag people. It's getting rediculous! Not to mention that this "flag" did not show up or become an issue when I applied for my carry permit the year before last.
