Minister of Planning meets Iraqi Central Bank Governor

His Excellency the Minister of Planning Agency, Dr. Nassar Rubaie, met with the Governor of Central Bank of Iraq Dr. Sinan Shabibi in his office in the ministry's headquarters in Baghdad During the meeting they discussed ways for strengthening cooperation between the Ministry of Planning and Central Bank of Iraq also discussed the sovereignty of the accumulated debt of Iraq and the automatic processing also addressed the meeting to discuss monetary policy in Iraq and also discussed the issue of inflation indicators in Iraq, hailed the governor of the Central Bank of the significant role played by the Ministry of Planning and special Central Bureau of Statistics and support it continued to the Central Bank with all respect to indicators of inflation important in preparing for monetary policy and the meeting was attended by Dr. Mahdi Al-Alaq chairman of the Central for Statistics and the Under Secretary and Dr. Mudhher Mohammad Salih, adviser to the CBI.

Iraq has so much potential to be an economic power house if they can just get the act together and make things happen. Its depressing to see them lollygagging around.

They keep talking about inflation (as though it is a problem) It worries me they are so concerned and may be stalling the RV.
