SuggaShane
I agree Wang!! I too use that site and was shocked when I saw a change. Confusing thing is, dinarbanker.com is saying the exact same thing! What is going on?!!!

wang
This is why half the people on here are bull@#$&! I post something and I was extremely objectional about it. You can follow up on the link that i posted which makes it factual not assumption. Either the site trackiraq.com is wrong or its right but if its right then something seems weird to me. That's why i checked the CBI site immediately after and explained in my post that nothing had changed on their site. So I simply was looking for insight on this topic, but someone gives me a negatve. lol that cracks me up. Just bc my status says im a newbie that makes me a pumper. LOL again. I guess if you have senior, junior, or administrator next to your name then your more credible. I posted a link, not pumping the sale of the dinar. Ease up people, we all want the same thing to happen in the end.

wang
Thanks suggashane. I guess I was replying to my post while you were replying to it. So thanks for having my back. And I never thought I would take a negative personal but i guess i did. This is why i only read and not post bc it gets to reactional. And I cant stand irrational people, which all the dinar sites are bountiful. Regardless, I would still luv some insight on the topic if anyone has any. tjmunson
I would stick to the original plan of not trusting anything other than forex. That sight is still showing the same as always. When this thing happens, it's gonna be like flipping on a light switch. It will all happen at once. Not in small increments. I'll admit that to look at these sites is fun and it is a great find but I just can't allow myself to believe any site other than the daddy of them all..Forex. I absolutely believe we are getting very close. But I don't think we are there just yet. Stay patient and faith based. We'll know it when it happens.

I agree that I really won't believe it until I see in on Forex but it was sure a shock at 630am to see my 1mil Dinar = $10,000. But I'm still on the leary side. I have looked at some "other" converters and they are all reading the usual rates...so I am sticking with Forex with a dose of a little more optimism Edited January 22, 2011 by sunnie3037
jola
And here is a guy that sent this to DD , saying the Bloomberg had the same thing going on ( even though the converter still says 1169): --------------------------- DD, While several of the currency exchange sites, which have been historically static, have recently experienced slight dinar appreciation (180-200 dinar), the notification I just received is interesting and by far the biggest change. My DERM application apparently caught a change on the Bloomberg site which has been static since I first started monitoring it several months ago. It seems that the conversion rate was $1 to 99 dinar for a moment in time. When I manually accessed the site less than five minutes from receiving the email. the value was back to its original which is $1 to 1169 dinar. Whether this was a mistake or test, who knows but it’s strange in either case. With this rate of exchange, 1M dinar would equal $10,101. I have also been meaning to get back to finishing additions to the DERM application for commercial use, but haven’t yet found the time. smee2
Perhaps it is just my "dumb old broad" genes reacting, but when I put in a million dinar and asked it to calculate dollars, expecting something really great, well, I got money, but no where near what that million dinar cost me ... Check Iraqi Dinar Value Iraqi Dinar Value in US dollars as of 1/23/2011: $848.90 Enter your Iraqi dinar holdings: remember my dinar holdings: clear saved data ... it does not seem to remember what I put in for dinar but I promise you I put in 1,000,000 dinar and it came up wht this $848,90 The last million dinar I bought, just before the prices went up, cost me, with shipping and everything, about $1,300 So I don't see this as a great thing, unless it is just the ract that it moved that is great and predisposed it to continue to move. But thanks for bringing this site to out arrantion, I have never seen it before, I will be keeping an eye on it now. Thanks smee2
