ABC world news just had to mention that the Congresswomans parents said the only ones who hated her was the Tea Party. The seed is planted in the ordinary-average-guy that the TP and Sarah Palin is behind this.

I'm a TP coordinator and I abhore this act. I have never seen any TP member who would consider this. We spill ink, not blood.

Agreed. It's another disgusting act perpetrated by a single member of society, who fed his gray matter a pile of manure.

Regardless of who dies, it was one sick act. Using this event to slander other political ideologies is one screwed up tact.

No one person on planet earth has lived to her age and bypassed having 'haters', let alone with all the people out of work and spending out of control... where's the surprise? ..she was in the eye of the public...

The parents speaking out against the TP are lashing out in pain, and really have no idea how quickly this country is collapsing....perhaps it was their bad parenting? It's about as ludicrous as saying the TP hated her....what a crock.

If there wasn't a politician involved, would it be any less heinous? Perhaps if it was a divorce lawyer people would feel better?

It's still just as sick an act and a sign of the times ...and that it's time for a change!

This guy was a nut and listen to too much of that Rush Limbaugh crap. Sarah Palin

How can you blame Rush for this, I listen to rush, hannity, and beck, and not once have I thought about killing anyone. You are wound to tight and you need to take a step back. This was an individual who was an idiot that did this regardless of his politics.

No matter what someone believes in or what their political view is, they do not deserve to be shot. This was a horrible thing that happened and many people lost their lives. No political party would be behind something so horrific. I am Tea Party, and this nice lady no matter what is still a human. Even a child lost her life. It had nothing to do with a political party.

My question and this begs to be asked.....Why does everything need to have a political agenda? Americans shot because of what they believe in, and people on this forum talk about the Iraqi people. This S*** has to end!!!

I would have to say is because the whole world is in turmoil due to politicians, whether it be iraq or the US. This person went way to far, that is why we are allowed to vote the ones we don't agree with out of office. Iraq may get there in the future and iraq may get a real election process where the winners stay the winners

I knew as soon as I read she was a liberal democrat that the Tea Party would get the blame for the shooting. I'm from Alabama an happen to be one

of those Constitution abiding, Bible carrying, gun toting, God fearing redneck yall's president was talking about in his campaign speech an I surely do

not condone any of the shootings of innocent people in this country or any other. George Bush will be to blame on MSNBC 6 oclock news.

You political nuts never cease to amaze me...what about the crosshairs Palin had on her website for Gifford and how they conveniently disappeared after the shooting. The political rhetoric is exactly the kind of talk that produces nuts like the shooter regardless of party affiliation. So there, you got what you wanted...someone is dead and you're busy bashing. Are you happy now?

It is astounding that in this very forum, where so many of us are hoping that the Iraqi government

will pull themselves together as a coalition body for the sake of our investment. Yet, under the

tragic circumstance of the shooting in Arizona, we are slinging arrows back and forth from one side

of our political affiliation to the other. From outside looking in, what makes us any better than

the Kurds/Shia's/Sunni's and their mistrust and contemptt of each other? Yet topic after topic, we stand in judgement

of why they haven't gotten their "Sh*t" together for our profit.

What happened was a tragedy, plain and simple, and the responsibility of a single man. The collective

comments should be sentiments to the families and loved ones of those wounded and dead. That those

still fighting for their lives recover fully, and those that passed rest in peace.
