I can't believe that this is still dragging on? I don't know about the rest of you but it has to be said that all of the pumpers and gurus called for it to be done no later than yesterday if not so much sooner? Where does that leave us? T-minus 365? Come on man, this is stale and nobody should believe anything any of these guys say anymore, a medic and a mailman, think about it, that's what they are and we are listening to them. What fools we are to continue along this path. I now serious believe that it will continue on for another year without question or as long as they have followers. Why not disconnect from it or sell all of the dinar back that we have and let's see what happens? Why not guys, come on, what do you have to lose, your sanity? This has become a complete joke and we all know it. Don't continue on this path as it will lead to utter disappointment, I have my opinion and this is it, just like all of the other pumpers have theirs, don't mistake mine for anything less than what their opinions are, except for that fact that you can't prove me wrong and we can easily prove them all wrong time and time again. It's time to take a stand on this end and end the insanity. Don't be so foolish another year and put your time to something that will certainly be more productive, not the Dinar. I am selling all mine back this week although I only have so little left as it is as my confidence has continued to seriously wain over the past year. Anyway, how many of you are with me. apparently impatience equals stupidity. Ya lets all sell our dinar so they can revalue it? What kind of stupid sense does that make? Just sell your dinar back, leave these sites and never come back. By the way, because it has not happened YET, does not mean that it will never happen. I'm perfectly content, and sane, just like many other dinar investors. You need to take a step back and relax, it will happen with or without you. What matters is how you handle the information you read, don't get overly excited.....be knowledgeable, aware, but cautious. Good riddance to garbage.

Do what you must but don't be telling us what the right choice is. If it goes on for another year, yeah that'll suck but it won't make me lose it. This is an investment and I don't spend 24/7 checking on it. Daily, yes but not 24/7. Besides, I honestly think of this as another savings account for me because I could always sell it back and lose a bit on the trade fee but still get most of it back. I understand your frustration but don't do anything rash, maybe try walking away for a while. Good luck in whatever you decide.

Sounds like you have let this investment frustrate you a little to much and maybe you spent money you shouldn't have, I really don't know. Have fun selling yours back, but if I were you I would stay off the sites forever because when this finally does go, you are going to be upset. Good luck to ya though. Ill keep mine and keep buying when I can or as long as they allow me too.

I am not sure anyone deserves negative marks for stating an opinion. It is fairly obvious that this poster is frustrated ... duh, ya think so?

We all get that way. We may not all sit down at the keyboard and knock off a wee rant but we all have the rant going on inside our heads at some time.

It IS a difficult ride. As I have said and will continue to say, we are not trained to be professional investors. For many of us this is the first real investment other than a mortgage. We may have been given assurances in the beginning of how quickly the turnaround time is. We may have come to conclusions from the news and clues that just haven't proved to be correct. We may have just simply become full to the eyeballs of the BS we read from the pumpers and gurus. We read them anyhow because somewhere there has to be an answer. Well, the answer is not a nice one. It is going to take patience and not listening to those who tell us how soon, how much, how it is going to come about. Sorry. I wish I had comforting words. But the fact is, it is just going to take time. If you cannot wait it out, cash in now and get out. But as one of the comments says, when it does RV later you'll be kicking yourself perhaps the rest of your life. This investment is, as they say, a once in a lifetime opportunity. With the way economics is going to change in this century there may never be this kind of opportunity again for our kids or grand kids. We may just be it. So, don't give up, Just stand aside a bit and let it happen. It will. Like the seasons, like the sunrise, like the inevitable cycle of birth and death and birth. It will happen.

And whoever told you in any way that it would be fast, should have their ... well, I shouldn't go there. sorry.

I like Zelda's thinking. At worst a dinar investment is a currency play. Compared to the US $ it doesn't look too bad. It's backed by substantial oil and gas reserves. The prospect for appreciation is good. The main risk imo is the political instability. If civil war breaks out we lose. The probability of a R/V/I still exists. That would be icing on the cake. I can sell it all now and lose just a little bit, or I can hang on to it and see what happens. Hmmm....I've already spent the money, and don't miss it. The odds are better than a Casino, the Lottery or even the Stock Market at this time. If it goes up to the value of a few pennies I make a profit. And at any time I can sell it back and just lose Ali's fees and shipping.

I have to agree with you too keepmwlknfny, because b]youdontsay[/b], not all investments move in the same manner, some appreciate in the short term because that's the breadth and width of those investments and others appreciate in the long term(which can be frustrating if you don't realize this in the first place)...

I've always seen the dinar as a long term when I first acquired mine(plus, I've been holding mine for over 7 years now)...

Either way, there's always going to be risk involved, whereas some investments pay out, others don't... Again, it is a clear example of not taking in consideration all the factors of this investment and not having the appropriate mindset does count...

I use this forum only as a learning tool, because there are some real valid insights here... I don't buy into anyone who says the RI/RV(but I do love learning about the insights surrounding it) has taken place here, or there, or anywhere; I mean come on now, you've got access to news and currency exchange sites to check up on this yourselves...

I'm sorry to hear you've come to the end of your rope with this youdontsay, and I wish you all the best with whatever you do... To everyone here I hope 2011 will be a fabulous year for all of us, not matter what the outcome of this investment may be...
