Speculators in Iraqi Dinar Face Importation Risk with Paper Currency

Date: 29 December 2010

"The formation of a government in Iraqi last week has re-energized speculators in the Iraqi Dinar" says David http://iqd.me/l/11 of U.S. Dinar Bank who cautions people that while these recent events are encouraging, people should heed the statements made by the Iraqi Ministry of Finance ?? Iraqi Customs does not permit the entry of IQD currency and will confiscate funds, and that FedEx is not permitted to handle and deliver IQD currency in or out of Iraq?.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) December 29, 2010

"The formation of a government in Iraqi last week has re-enrgized speculators in the Iraqi Dinar" says David http://iqd.me/l/11 of U.S.

While thousands of U.S. Servicemen, and contractors in Iraqi purchased paper Dinar in anticipation of what appears to be an impending revaluation, they may have overlooked the fact that Iraq currency is a national currency only to be used and handled within the Republic of Iraq and not to be used, circulated, or handled internationally in any way.

According to David http://iqd.me/l/11, of US Dinar Bank, http://www.usdinarbank.com, "the statements above illustrate a major risk to investors owning the paper currency of Iraq and it may affect their capability to redeem it at any given time in the future?. He further states that Americans are free to have a bank account and purchase Dinar without taking those Dinar out of Iraq and be compliant with the regulations of the Iraqi government.

Mr. http://iqd.me/l/11 and U.S. Dinar Bank facilitate commercial banking relationships for Iraq?s Al Warka Bank. The U.S. Dinar Bank does not handle Iraq?s paper currency in any way.

I am very happy that I opened an account at Al Warka Bank in 2005 and bought the dinar from them for them to deposit. If I did not have an Al Warka account right now I would darn sure be working my tail off hooking up with one and wire some USD's as fast as possible. Who knows what other laws may pop up. This is a NEW nation...a new way of doing business. Face it...ALL STARTUPS are a ***** and rarely go smoothly. Another reason.. you need TWO nests...at least. Since opening my Al Warka account I have picked up some notes here and there so I would have another nest here in the USA. Right now it is hard to tell which one is strongest, but when it all shakes out in the long term, I think the Al Warka nest is the one I would have to bet on in light of the recent CBI moves to freeze movement of the currency.

I didn't get into this speculation to turn a fast buck. I want to hang in there and be part of rebuilding the country and helping be part of something historical and good; help bring the Iraq into the global economy and prosper a bit in the process. Al Warka, being an investment bank is a great place to base out of in you intend to invest in the Iraq Stock Exchange My experience with Al Warka has always been super and the service has just gotten better each time I deal with these fine folks. I have no reservations in recommending Al Warka and I have always felt comfortable with banking there. Now that the Master Card debit card system is in place, when the currency becomes internationally recognized, I would think this may serve me very well in light of this news.

I kind of smile to myself when I think of the so called gurus and phony yahoo advisors who have warned people away and stated that they did not trust them, etc. They are the losers. Fortune favors the brave.

May God richly bless you and yours and good luck too. (cover all your bases!)

Drive on

IMO this seems like a scare tactic. Iraq is working towards having their currency recognized within the world market, through the IMF, the WTO, etc. It only seems logical to me that when it becomes "public" and all banks start buying and selling them along with their other foreign currencies, then this risk is effectively removed.

Lets not forget that President George W. Bush signed into law that americans can buy and hold the IQD.

Many banks in the US bought and sold IQD, someone sold it to them in Iraq, most likely Warka or CBI.

This couldn't be done unless Iraq gave their permission. No worries, IMO this is to stop the local speculation with surrounding countries.

Stay grounded, calm and be happy

New Iraqi Dinar (NID)

Presidential Order 13303 allows US Citizens to invest in the New Iraq. Under this Order and the Coalition Provisional Government Order 39, a US citizen has the same rights to investments as an Iraqi citizen

IRAQ (PRWEB) March 2, 2004 -- Investment in the new Iraq is guaranteed under the Presidential Order 13303 removing sanctions on investment in Iraq. The new order allows for a restructuring of the banking system in Iraq. US citizens are allowed to invest in Currency, Stocks, Bonds, Real Estate and Business in Iraq.

Iraq has a new currency to replace Iraq’s two currencies, one of which was easily counterfeited and mostly circulated in a single denomination. Banks issue only the new currency and government employees paid in cash will receive their salaries in the new currency. Until January 15, 2004 the old and new currencies will circulate freely at a fixed exchange rate. Exchange between the old and new currencies is conducted at now charge at multiple exchange points around the country.

The other financial market structures are strong:

95 percent of all pre-war bank customers have service and first-time customers are opening accounts daily. Iraqi banks are making loans to finance businesses. The central bank is fully independent. Iraq has one of the world’s most growth-oriented investment and banking laws.

The new Iraqi dinar which is printed bu De La Rue company in the US and Great Britian, is valued at just 2 tenths of one cent today. The US treasury has a strong dinar policy and is working with the CPA (Coalition Provisional Authority) to reinstate a strong decentralized banking system in Iraq. By December 2004 there will be six Western Banks in Iraq and six Iraqi Banks outside Iraq in operation. In March Three banks were given licence to operate in Iraq, National Bank of Kuwait, HSBC Bank and Charter bank of England.

If you know how to write and format a press release you can just about anything you want on PR Web.

It's a free press release service. I have used them many times to pump an event I was going to be part of and it looks like real 'news'.

Some smaller blog sites grab keywords from PR Web's feed and run the stories.

Heck, anyone can do it. You announce you son's birthday as long as you make it sound like news.
