DaveH
Just received this e mail fro a relative, thought I would share, Interesting to say the least. Subject: VIET NAM BANK STATE BANK OF VIET NAM: http://www.sbv.gov.vn/en/home/asean_vietnam_2010.jsp I LOOKED UP BOTH SITES AGAIN TO BE SURE. BOTH GO TO THE SAME ADDRESS. ALSO LOOKED UP THIS ONE, IT IS THE OFFICIAL CENTRAL BANK OF VIET NAM. SITE IS STILL DOWN. & This sweet tidbit too from Nursewriter: This is the most I could find so far CBI is still down--Al sumaria HAS NO NEW NEWS SINCE THE 24TH, aL JAZEERA HAS ALMOST NOTHING ON iRAQ, SOTALIRAQ HAS NO NEWS ON iRAQ SINCE YESTERDAY, Aswat al iraq says the NC approved the draft law for strategic security counsel to be voted on within 2 days--it's about 8:30 Sunday night there--I bet they voteMonday to keep RV on track--(This is oh-so important as allawi is the only force keeping al-mal from being a dictator.) IMO, when the fate of Iraq is at least marginally secure from dictatorship, they'll allow to RV--if al mal has no opposition to power, he could hold up everything. That's IMO: Most of aswal iraq has for today is about neighboring countries (saudi, egypt), the increase in oil prices willmake up for deficit in Iraq'sbudget-- it also says that tomorrow, the budget will have first reading--i thought it already had the second. Interesting that the " corruption watch dog" speak in parl tomorrow: http://en.aswataliraq.info/ Parl. hosts corruption watchdog chief Monday December 26, 2010 - 06:50:08 BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Iraqi parliament wrapped up its 18th session on Sunday evening after it agreed to host the chief of Iraq?s Commission of Integrity on Monday, according to a legislator from the al-Iraqiya bloc. The parliament will host the Commission of Integrity Director Judge Raheem al-Okaili in a session that will also witness the first reading of the state budget and a debate on curricula,? Zuhair al-Aaraji told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. ?First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Qusai al-Suhail will also read out the names of permanent committees and their members after receiving them from the political blocs,? he said, adding there are some differences between al-Iraqiya and Kurdistan Alliance blocs over the legal committee. Aaraji noted that al-Iraqiya lawmakers Alaa Mekki, Haider al-Mulla, Attab al-Dori and Ojail al-Yawir will chair the education, human rights, accountability and national reconciliation & tribes committees.

This is just a simple problem with the Javascript code in that page period. Everyone, including me, has been walking barefoot on a razor the past few days. Just kick back a few short hours and the CBI will be open for business and we'll see what's what.//
