I think many of us think alike. We would like to recoup and then roll the dice for the big money or in poker "Go all in" and hope it goes through the roof.

BobbyBuns, I never was on Ellen, but like her show. I did TODAY 3 times and many other talk shows. If you Google Dead Guy and Chuck I'm easy to find or Dead Body Guy.

Both will show you how I'm making my dreams come true. I'm like whoever said I don't want to die saying "What if" or "If I would've only"

That's (I think) is like many of us on here. we are taking the chance, rolling the dice, going all in for a shot at our dream life. Some of us get serious where people like me try to smile my way through it.

DAMN! I get goose bumps thinking of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just googled it. That is hilarious! Do you only go for stuff that where you play a dead person? You gotta have a niche! I think it's funny when my friends call me and tell me to watch a show because they are the person the star beats up or get killed or something. It takes so many people who get very little credit to make movies and tv happen. It's a lot more fun than I thought it would be! I can't remember if I set up my IMBD page or not. If so it's under Bobby Ashhurst. If anyone chooses to Google me, please disregard the random sites people put me on. A lot of sites just hi jack your pics and add you to them for contents sake. :-D

If this RV thing works out I think I'm gonna stop eating healthy and working out and grow a nice beer belly that my girl can rub like a buddha...

If the dinar revalued at a nickel ...

Well, I wouldn't go all in to cash out but I would take enough out of my stock to cash in right away so that it would work out to sufficient to cover what I have put in to the investment so I could relax and with out worrying about it and in time it would hopefully be in a good enough place that I could get out of it for good.

Seriously ... Deadguy ... you asked the kind of question I ask when bored and waiting and you didn't deserve anyone jumping all over you but it is a very sensitive issue and some people are frayed enough by the waiting that even the smallest irritation becomes "fightin' words" ... so don't sweat the small stuff :)

And so many other great responses, some I just have to comment on ...

BobbyBuns ... you have the right attitude about being very happy with whatever it cashes in at and holding some, perhaps most of it back for a better rate. A little immediate gratification would be very welcome at this point and take a lot of pressure off. Even enough to catch up on the bills and take the famly to a good steak and lobster joint ... that would keep things on an even keel for a while.

Dinaromania ... there are days, man, most of them Mondays, when I too would take 2 cents, even one and a half cents. Anything to see a result and stop feeling I had made the most collossal mistake of my life.

Qman ... hahahahaha ... you and I share belief in the ultimate rate I see, but at 25 cents I'd be taking part of my dinar and exchanging them, and giving some of the money to family members I have already given dinar to so they could wait to cash in when the time comes. I feel they may jump at a quarter and I don't want them to give their dinar up so low. So I would sort of supplement them until it did go up.

Phillydinar ... wow ... chill brother .... it is only a question. No one is going to make you give up your dinar for anything less than you are willing to wait for. You may not be in control of the RV and amount, but you are all in control of how you handle your own dinarassets, eh? Smile, it takes less muscles to smile than to frown, and it keeps the blood pressure in check :)

Stargazer55 ... yours is the most intriguing response. I too have thought hard about what to do if there is a time limit on exchanging the old bills. A regular RV is just a matter of the banknotes becoming a certain re-value. But in this case the RV will also come with a re-issue of new notes in lower denominations. They cannot realistically put a deadline on when you can claim the value of their dinar, that is dependent on current rate, period. But they can put a deadline on the time they will allow you to hold on to the old notes. If you can exchange the old notes for the new and still hold the dinar at a dime or a nickel instead of less than a cent as it is now, I think that would be the route to go. Then when the deadline has passed for exchanging the old bills, you still have your investment in the new bills to ride out the escalation of the RV. I see it like taking some old, beat up and torn Canadian (or US) banknotes to the bank because they are falling apart and asking to get new ones, or at least some in better condition. Same difference, eh? Thanks for throwing in your comment ... it will make some people consider something they hadn't and need to.

Thanks to all of your for your responses. It has made for some interesting reading on a rather boring, post-Christmas, still too full and very lazy afternoon. And DeadGuy thanks for posting a question that got us all stirred up but didn't result in any ah ... well ... unusual hamburger, if you get the reference. hahahahaha

5 cents? hmmmm...I don't know. Thats a tough question. On one hand, I say if I'm gonna walk away with a nice chunk of money (and to me...just about anything is a nice chunk. LOL) then just do it and don't let the dice roll again. On the other hand..it's not like this is a casino. I only see bright things in Iraq's near future and I'm willing to bet that it will reflect on their currency. Its a mind boggler. Good question.

Also...I +1'd you. These kind of questions are GOOD AND FUN people. Makes you think "what if".

smee2 - great post. I was like everyone else. Just wasting a little time. Thanks for understanding.

Now seriously for a second. I got into this after extensive reading, studying and checking history. In my true humble opinion I think Iraq's currency HAS TO RISE. I really don't see how it can't. Saddam took everything the country made for his own when he ruled and just think for a minute all of the palaces and cars and things he had.

Now, all of that belongs to the people. I'm guessing here but Iraq's population is around 32,200,000 people. So, if they are producing 2.5 million barrels of oil a day, even at $50 a barrel that's 125 MILLION dollars a DAY the country is bringing in. 4 dollars for every person in the country PER DAY. Just in oil.

That's pretty darn fruitful if you ask me. I just think he population has been under thumb for so long that it has become routine.

I think very very soon the population of Iraq is going to realize how wonderful a democracy can be and you'll be seeing wonderful economy, beautiful building, art museums and citizen's with pride in what they have built.

With all of that comes a healthy, growing economy and prestige on the world's stage. we have to remember (and it's easy to forget) that they are starting from scratch.Just like us at the end of the great depression.

Bless them all. AND US TOO because we had the faith and belief that they could and would do it. For that ALL of us will be rewarded.

you'll be seeing wonderful economy, beautiful building, art museums and citizen's with pride in what they have built.

Picture a time ... after the Garden of Eden, which Iraw is purported to be, and before the rule of Saddam. I raw was Mesopotamia.

They were the first civilization to have not only schools but university and instituted of higher learning dedictated to training medical doctors, philosophers, mathematicians and builders, teachers, master gardeners, and workers of precious metals and gemsetters, nmaster weavers and artists and ... all the professions useful ih that day and most of them still useful now. They had hospitals, museums, libraries, gorgeous centres of learning and churches and civic centres. They had gardens and lush, rich farmland they cultivated to grow food of a quantity and in a variety that they traded with far off China and into the horn of Africa. They developed hardy herds and flocks and raised varieties of goats and sheep we no longer have today. It was the center of commerce and trade for the world in those days, the world being much smaller then than it is today. They shipped caravans to the Chinese with dates and melons and cut gemstones. They returned with silks and citrus and techniques to incorporate into their own medicines and building. Architecture was an art, and they built palaces and institutional facilities that are copied and called upon as examples even today. These people were all well educated, highly skilled, knowledgeable about agriculture and trades and professions. They had it all, for many centuries. One way or another they surpassed surrounding countries in almost everything. They actually knew how to work together. Ever wonder when that changed? Can you say Mohammed? Originally the Muslims were known as Mohammedans, anyone remember that? I don't denigrate their religion but the diversity of Muslim sects has caused the tribal societies to become more warlike as time went on. Which weakened the entire civilization eventually. In any event, they were a people of pride and a lot to be proud of. They had the resources and skills to turn their land into a paradise. It is no wonder that early Christian researchers believed this to be Eden, and still do today. I sincerely hope that in the years to come the people of Iraq can manage to become that kind of civilization again. They have the background for it. Their past speaks volumes on how well suited they are to accomplish. Here's hoping they do that again.

Of course, for my money (dinar of course) they could start with an RV ... today? hahahaha

DeadGuy, great Topic post! I have always believed for one reason or another the vast majority of Dinar investors throughout the world would cash in between .10 and .25 cents which I believe would be a benefit to Iraq and investors that choose to hold on. Your topic proved me correct.

THANKS!

I know whatever it comes out at is better than what it is now so that in itself is a step in the right direction. At a nickel or dime is still a healthy return on our investment but being that there may not be a time limit on cashing in then i would tithe my 10% to the church in dinars and cash out enough to cover my initial investment, trade the remaining for notes without ooo's and sit back taking the time to talk to the right financial players to better prepare for the large cash in when and if the value increases.. Hopefully soon we can start speculating on what the next revalue will be instead of waiting on the first to get here.. God Bless and Geaux RV

It's sorta crazy how personal people take simple questions/opinions on these forums. DeadGuy, don't take it personal but it is funny that you got a couple minuses so I threw a plus your way. Not really sure what the hell that even means but it is sorta funny. I took the question as a way to make us think or even dream about the possibilities of this coming to fruition and hear what other people have on their minds. So I say jump in and share what your plans are with everyone. I know one thing I'm planning on. I asked my girl the other day where she would like to go if she and I could run off somewhere for a few days (she has no idea what investments I even have and plan on keeping it a nice surprise if she happens to be THE ONE) and she said Macchu Picchu in Peru. So if this pans out I'm booking a trip for us after we get a lot of our more important fitness competitions out the way next year. I always wanted to see that place too!!!!

Hey BobbyBuns, I noticed you're in AZ....uh, you and your girl need to train me, because I have to say if those are your abs....HOLY WOW. Congrats, that has to be hard work. I am working on it. Good to meet an AZ Dinarvet. Happy Holidays.

oh, thread question....I'd wait. I need enough to travel the world 2 times. Same reason for watching movies 2 times....you'll always miss something. This is a once time in a while thing. I'd hate to wait again. Take a deep breath everyone....it's coming....in it's disigned time. :D

lol I'm in PV/Scotts as well. Now that is hilarious. Very cool. So what type of store? I'm a biz owner as well.....advertising co.. I'll stop by, email me.

I have a supplement store called NutriFit of Scottsdale at Thomas and Hayden

Awesome, I've been taking a couple things for health....neuro and protein. I'd like your take on them I am upstairs and almost asleep or I'd type them in, oh it's by nutrition53, I honestly do feel a difference. It's the other one I'm not seeing much, lean something it's called. Anyhow, that's cool I know the area. I'll pop in this week...who know's maybe we can chat in line as we wait to cash in...hahahaa. Oh, I"m also taking ab cuts, not too impressed though....it helps with crave, but no real view on results. I do work out, I'm just hmmm not as bounce back lucky or blessed as I used to be. I have a gym and a basketball court in my front room....so I have been focusing hard. I'd love to stop in and see what you have there. Oh, my diet is great too....changed everything I eat. How cool is that I met a friend trading Dinar....hahaa. Thanks Mr.

the most conservative 'guess' of the RV rate is based on the lowest exchange rate amongst the gulf and arab countries with the US dollars.

that is the UAE dirham; 0.27.

p/s the highest US dollar exchange rate is against Kuwaiti dinar; 3.54.

for me, any rate between 0.27 and 3.54 is fine with me! B)

La Donna, I have the protein you're talking about but don't care the Nuero even though I heard good things. Diet is the most important thing. Without that as your foundation you can take all the supplements and workout as long as you want and still not see results. Swing by and we van talk about it :)

If it came out at .10 I would cash in enough to cover my initial investment, if not all of it. The thing is, we don't know exactly how long we can hold onto the notes we have now. CBI may call in our notes within a week of RV. If we were allowed 30, 60, 90 days, I would hold out for a better rate assuming the rate were allowed to float.
