Fair warning ... I awakened at 4 am and couldn't go back to sleep so I got up and started this ... I'm not about to drink coffee (will try to go get some more sleep) ... so fair warning Doc31 has had no coffee while composing this ... read at your own risk ... now don't say I didn't warn you ... lol

Spot Oil~$83.81 up over 1% off Friday's close (only 2 of 3 reporting presently)

Spot Gold$1359.70 well up off Friday's low ... near close

Zero Cash Days 30 Straight

Well ... they still seem to be "holding their breath under water" ... only 9 of 19 banks participating on basically 1/2 the normal volume ... and 30 straight days of zero cash ... I'm still feeling like Arsenio Hall's "makes you want to go hmmmmmmmmmmm"!

Everyone really seemed bummed after yesterdays "push it off while we screw around some more" news ... me, not so much ... on a best case scenario, I was hopeful for the naming/full govt announcement yesterday. What I saw in the news was more of the GOI tainted/disinformation/self serving drivel that we've seen for months. Practically nightly Frank26 warns against listening to this. Did you notice that every article had the same flavor ... let me change that to odor ... are you with me?

Then I came across an article posted by Patriotic Party Girl :

It was the only article that I saw ALL DAY that had a different odor (perhaps a ring of truth) and POSSIBLE intel. I don't have any information about this particular flavor of SmartCard and what it's renewal date (if any) is or why there was a problem that required such action. Yes, I see that it SAYS because of the feast ... but 1) why didn't it affect other SmartCards 2) they didn't know the feast was coming and they made an error? ... please 3) why single out this group ... why not all groups because the feast caused some type of timing problem with the cards ... or WHY NOT LET THEM SUFFER LIKE ALL OF THE OTHER CITIZENS/VETERANS/RETIREES/GOVT WORKERS? 4) WHY THROUGH THE 25th? ... is it a significant date? 5) does this coincide with what we've heard that al-Maliki has requested a holiday?

Could this all be because journalists are included in this bunch and have the propensity to give them "bad press". The answer is I simply don't know but it seems really "fishy" to me.

Ordinarily I'd wonder if I was just wanting a date to be the date because it is not so far off ... but as I stated ... everything yesterday had an odor ... this is the only one that had a different smell/feel to it ... shall I call that an intangible?

I wouldn't put a lot of hope in the date ... simply put it on the back burner of your mind ... I'm going to put it there as something I suspect but am not sure of ... and will have to let things play out and just have to see.

Well the straight no cash days are starting to bear fruit it seems. The poorest of the Iraqi people are now being told that despite their country have some of the greatest natural resources on the planet, there is no money for them to buy food for their families. This should go ever well!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to see someone who runs numbers start a pool to bet on the dates we all think the country of Iraq will plunge into civil war. And if your a real betting man you could bet on when the RV will happen. What do you think the odds on that bet would be?
