Finance: Delete the zeros of the local currency enhances the value of the Iraqi dinar in the International Monetary Fund

Saturday, November 20, 2010

The Ministry of Finance that the deletion of zeros from the local currency will liberate the Iraqi economy from the constraints and enhance the value of the Iraqi dinar in the International Monetary Fund.

The chancellor said the Ministry of Finance Zia Alckheon that the survival of the current currency and the current status would not address the question of the economic gap taking place in the Iraqi dinar as it will increase the burden on the local economy.

The International Monetary Fund expressed support for the Iraqi economy in the event of having a number of economic measures, including privatization of banks and raise three zeroes from the currency and solvency.

What this article does is confirm the information that the ATM and banks now carry the lower domination's.

Thank you for sharing this. I just love it when a plan keeps falling into place.

God Bless all of you.

How is this article is any different from the articles that have been coming out the past 4 days??? It's the same exact news with a different date. Also, how does this article from today's date "confirm" that "ATM and banks now carry lower dominations"???? You didn't make this statement before.

This also tells me that OKIE was telling the truth...that he had seen the lower denominations but didn't know how to post it. I copied the photo and don't know how to post it either and I am probably a little more computer savvy than he seems to be. Let's cut these good folks some slack...they share with us...we decide what we want to believe...we don't need to trash them when we can't possibly know their sources and certainly don't have any of our own!

Hmmm.... Does the placement of those bills have any significance? $25k note = $10? ohmy.gif

Cant be. There are (2) $1's and (2) $5's in the pic. Each ($1) has (2) different bills- 1 on either side of it and the same for the ($5's). That doesnt mean that the (2) seperate bills are the same as or equal to ($1) and the other (2) seperate bills are also equal to ($5). That makes no sense. Why have 2 different bills for the same value?

According to a report on that was shown on 6 February 2010 on Al Iraquya TV channel, the CBI considered a plan to redenominate the Iraq dinar in order to increase the strength level of the Iraq currency, which will allow people to carry less paper money. Mudhhir Muhammad Salih, a member of CBI advisory panel, told RFI ( ready for issue ) that the plan is to remove the zeros from the currency and phase out the current Bank notes late this year. Salih said by the end of 2010. The current bank notes, ex. 10000 dinars will turn to 10 dinars. This will be while the old Bank notes will be gradually removed from circulation. He did not specify when the new notes would be issued. Both will be legal tender in Iraq until the old ones are completly withdrawn.

Do they take us for morons?? There is a 25k, a 10k, a 5k, a 1k, and a 500 dinar note with US money next to it. If you the poster is insinuating that these bills are the new ones, then that poster is a moron. I ask the question again......WHY POST WORTHLESS SH** LIKE THIS? Those are not the lower notes. Those are the notes that every dinar owner has. Obviously those who agree with that picture know nothing and I should not have wasted my time with writing this!!!!!
